Summer is nearing its end and I find myself feeling a bit bittersweet about it. I suppose there is a bit of sadness for another ending and I didn’t get everything done that I wanted to, but such is life. Of course I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures and fall is my favorite season with colorful leaves, pumpkins, black cats, and ghoulies peeking around corners.
In the early hours of the morning I will be leaving for my last summer adventure to Hawaii, a place I have never been to yet and have wanted to visit for years. Images of the sea and white beaches, abundant flora across an island, and a love of tradition come to mind when I think of this place. Not just volcanoes, grass skirts, and coconuts. I don’t really know what it will be like, but I am excited to go and enjoy a new atmosphere. While Hawaii is a part of the United States, its roots are much older and I am looking forward to learning about Polynesian culture.
Perhaps I am also a little sad because my great grandmother has been on hospice care for a few weeks and the recent visit I had with her may be my last. I have loved going to see her, but it is also difficult to watch her wither away. We talked about my upcoming trip, and she said it sounded like it would be nice and wishes she would’ve gone sometime but she had never been a big traveler. She tells me I need to bring a boyfriend back home with me. I chuckled and told her I would be trying to anyway. She gives me hope. Don’t I love her just for that?
So as I finish up packing and get my carry on ready, I am keeping my great grandmother in my heart, taking her with me to Hawaii to create new memories to share with my family and friends. I will be putting flowers in my hair and enjoying what adventure and love I can find.

As I was thinking about what I wanted to show you guys, I kind of just hung around my bedroom and lazed about in my new shorts and tank top. I’m still sort of decorating my house so I was wanting comfy casual attire. The shorts you see here are from !The Little Bat and come with a HUD with fun color selections. Sizes included are standard mesh sizing and fitted models for Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza. My tank top from Vicarious Youth fits only Maitreya. I’m a kitty girl so I had to have it.
My second look comes from Anachron. This cute dress is at the Cart Sale in a variety of colors, some that are perfect for Easter. It comes in standard mesh sizing and models for Maitreya, Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, and Belleza bodies. Pair it with some cute sandals and a hat and you are set for Sunday brunch!
My third look is a lovely floral dress from Dark Water Designs. It only comes in standard mesh sizes but it still fit my Maitreya body well. If you aren’t a big fan of floral patterns, the dress also comes in a striped version. Either one is wonderful for new spring attire.
My last look is from :{MV}: and I have been strutting my stuff in this dress all day! Sizes included are for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Isis, Venus, and Freya; and a standard fit option. There are seven gorgeous colors to choose from and really at this price, it’s a bargain to grab them all for 110L. Each is 10L with the black being the special 50L item. My friend and sl daughter loved the dress too and is the one posing with me. To pair with the detailing on the neckline, I applied some nail polish from La Boheme that was also at the Cart Sale. These nails have omega appliers and one for Maitreya.
The bed that I am sitting on in my picture is The Sophisticate Bed from Dictatorshop. It is not the newest item but I really loved the look of it and the bedsheets I found were so lovely. If you’re looking for a bed that with great animations for all around use, this is a wonderful option. Individuals have plenty of poses to pick from for both genders. There are cuddles for when you just want to relax with that special someone, and then as usual the wide selection of adult animations that Dictatorshop always has. For more options in bed covers, check out the other huds available in the shop; for the goth lovers there’s even Halloween themed bedsheets. Be sure to get the right Hud for the correct bed and have fun matching your house decor! 🙂
All the other decor in the pictures are from the Cart Sale. I love the watercolors and sketches from Dark Knight Designs. Something about them scattered about the room makes it feel extra artsy. The teapot with the fern fits in well with the bedsheets I chose too. The sturdy table is from Wood Works Furniture and is nice for filling in empty corners to hold up some of your knick knacks. I also liked the little pouffe seats from The Artist Shed for a little spot to sit and look out the window. Each pouffe has a different pose and texture inspired by spring weather. My final touches to my room was to hang a fishing pole from Dixie Dandelion with little frames on the wall and to texture the empty wall with an accent pattern from Timeless Textures. Each frame has a little cheerful saying and image to brighten your mood. On the wall, the knit texture I chose looks more glittery because of the scale. It’s a beautiful texture!

Summer is coming up and I decided I wanted to try out some new bikinis so I am prepared for sunbathing. Of course, going for a drive with the top down is always nice too. A friend of mine let me use some his tools to make sure my car was running properly and I just had to check out the engine. Luckily for me, I had an engine crane ready because the engine needed some work. After taking a look under the hood, a few tweaks here and there, I’m ready for some racing!
Today I am wearing one of the bikinis from Mishmash Fusion that are at the Cart Sale. After one look I knew I had to have it because well, you can see how cute I look right? Hello pretties! I am back again with more from Mishmash Fusion and REIGN to brighten your day. 🙂 The other night I was a bit lost in thought and decided to take a walk on the dock near some friends’ house. A friend of mine wanted to tag along too so I made him stand in the rain with me. He didn’t seem to mind too much…

Hi all! Life has been pretty hectic and crazy all month since I started a new term at my university. I’m just finishing up week three and I’m still trying to get into the groove. We all have stressful things in our lives that make us just want to bury our heads under the blankets, but if we try to have a little fun amidst the chaos, it can boost our motivation and see us through our obstacles. Yes, I know it sounds cheesy and cliché. But it does help! This past Saturday, my friends at =EC Designs= and owners of the sim named Serenity City sponsored a race. Not just any race, an ANARCHY race. This means the only rule was to get the fastest time without missing any checkpoints. My Secondlife hubby was a dragster racer in SL years ago, so he was all for spending an evening on the track. I mostly hung out by the racer’s lounge to listen to the DJ, dance, and watch the time board as I cheered him on. Funny thing about this race that made it killer fun? Racers could use any vehicle. Car, motorcycle, plane, tricycle, lawn chair, you name it. Yes, I said lawn chair. My Secondlife hubby won a race in his Lawn Chair of Doom. Pictured here is both of us on his tricycle for one lap he did. Lol I had a blast and am looking forward to other events Cara and Jaxx will be throwing at their city.
So what did I wear to this race? My black dress is a hunt gift from Marquesse. If you haven’t heard, there’s a hunt going on called the Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt that started April 7th and runs until April 30th. This will be the last Fi’s Hunt until probably September because Fiona is moving in real life. So if you’re looking for a some new free goodies and like to hunt, get started asap! I’ll be sharing peeks at some of the gifts available from the hunt.
As I said, the black dress I’m wearing is from Marquesse as a hunt gift. It comes in five standard mesh sizes. The same goes for the white bolero that comes with the dress. While I had no issues with fitting the dress to my Maitreya Lara body, I was not able to make wear the bolero because it didn’t quite fit over my bust and dress. Even without the bolero, this dress is fun and cute for watching races from the sidelines. Grab it while you can!
For the second round of the race, I wore a dress and jacket combo my sister gifted me from R.icielli. On the HUD, there are several color options for not only the dress, but also different sections of the jacket. You can even hide the dress with a click of a button to wear just the jacket. Standard mesh sizes are included along with fitted meshes for the Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink bodies. I adore how this combo fits on my mesh body and really makes every curve look flawless. Needless to say, my hubby loved the outfit too.
With any outfit, the right shoes are essential. With both of my looks I wore Mishmash Fusion’s newest shoe release in black. New Orleans is a sassy strappy pair of heels with a bow tied on the back to keep them from looking too severe. These lovely gems are fitted for slink high feet and come on so many colors you will just want to get them all. Myst also released a similar pair with covered toes so be sure to check those out. Both sets of shoes are textures to perfection. If you’ve been looking for a cute pair of heels that can go with practically anything, these are for you. Believe me, I haven’t taken them off in over a week!

Hello my lovelies! I hope your new year is off to a good start. New Years always brings about the reminder that we can change and we have choices. Choices that have much power to influence our future. (I’ve been drawn to the Dark Side hehe) Fi’s latest hunt is the Black or White Hunt which offers two hunt paths to choose from. Black is difficult while white is easy. All shops have two gifts set out, one for each path, but they ARE NOT the same gift or recolored versions of the same thing. So what will it be? Black or White? You’re welcome to do both paths of course and why not? The gifts are amazing and I’m going to share a bit about what you can find. FYI hunt links and info below the pictures.
At Mishmash Fusion, the black gift offers an outfit for women and men. They are so well done as always that I’m dragging my husband to get the men’s as soon as I can. The top for the women’s look is a jacket/top combo so there’s no worries about side boob if you’re wearing a mesh body like I am. Myst, your textures are amazing as always! 😀
My lovely little black dress is from Get Frocked’s black path. Fit was Purrfect and the look? Sexy. You could easily wear this for a date night or make it casual with some leggings.
The lovely Fiona of Fi’s Creations made a darling little dress. Layered sweetly with a cute bow on the waist, you will be doing twirls in this mini dress like I was! Pair it with the right heels to make this a great statement outfit.
My gray dress with the side slit actually came in two versions. The other dress that is included with this one is essentially the same but it is covered in the same pattern as the faux belt on this one. An included leaf necklace with a color change hud completes this look. It’s a touch provocative with just enough class to keep it balanced. I personally cannot wait to see what else Faerietale Designs has to offer in future hunts. (Please Faerie!!!!)
Euphoria Couture is the designer of the last outfit I’m sharing in this post. I was a little worried about the high waisted pants looking odd on me but damn, they make my legs look awesome! This is a great outfit for the working lady on the go. It’s classy and fashionable without feeling stiff. Bonus points for making the zebra print look amazing!
Lastly, the gazebo I’ve been taking all these photos in is the white hunt path gift from =EC Designs=. *waves to Cara and Jaxx* I love it you two! It’s a heavenly piece to sit and think or have a quiet cuddle with a loved one while watching the water. The arched columns are beautifully crafted to surround the pool and its benches. Go find it!!

I’ve recently stopped by a few places like Arcade and The Tannenbaum Holiday Market for winter and Christmas themed decor and other goodies
If you haven’t heard, Pixicat has a new Fifty Linden Friday sweater up for grabs. Winter cozy and a touch holiday themed, this sweater comes with a texture change Hud for a few color options. All standard mesh sizes are included with some of the most popular mesh body fitted versions as well. You’ll be looking fashionable at the Ugly Sweater parties with this cozy design.
Typically I steer clear of shoes that aren’t fitted for Slink or Maitreya feet, but these boots from The Sugar Garden were to die for. There’s plenty of color choices for both the base and laces but these do not come with a texture change Hud. I left The Tannenbaum Holiday Market with a pair in white and the mocha ones seen here. While you’re there, try some of the gachas for cute baubles to put on your Christmas tree or just as fun knick knacks.
Also check out Collabor88 for some fantastic winter decor and clothing. The woodstove and a lot of the associated decor are from {what next} which really suited my living room. Warm up your hands and set the kettle on the stove for hot cocoa. Don’t forget to hang your stockings for Santa to fill!
The Arcade also has fun winter and holiday items along with the Season of Giving gifts from participating merchants. Right now I’m wearing one of Spellbound’s gacha hairs that comes in two hat versions (Blizzard or Chilly), and varying hair colors. It’s December. It’s cold. Unless you’re in Secondlife where it can be summer all year. If you’re not in the mood for all the traditional winter hunts and festivities going on this time of year (or simply like fairies, magic, and/or spring), the Elven Forest Hunt is just right for you! This round of Fi’s Hunts is inspired by elves, fairies, and nature and I’ll be sharing a bit about some of the goodies on the hunt path.
One of my favorite pieces from the hunt so far is an outfit from Mishmash Fusion. In the couples picture, I’m wearing the outfit which comes in standard sizes and includes a circlet and foot jewelry for slink high feet. I think the main reason I love it so much is the subtlety of the colors and textures. Other than my boobs, which frankly I’ve always had to smoosh into tops lol, I had no trouble fitting the skirt and top to my mesh body. This is another well done and fun outfit from Mishmash Fusion. 🙂
Another of the outfits offered as a gift is a cute fairy dress with wings from Fi’s Creations. I could not wait to get my hands on this little dress as it reminds me of fairies I’ve seen in children’s films. The wings are included though you may have to attach them to your spine and rotate them in build mode to look correct. Paired with the right jewelry and hair, you’ll be flitting about with a touch of magic. The sparkles on my feet and hands are from a Gacha at =EC Designs=. Try your luck for one of the many pretty colors or you can snag the fatpack and have them all.
My third outfit features pieces from different places. The corset from WICKED is mesh and has a Hud with six texture variations for the bust and ribcage. I love the detail and that the back actually looks like someone had to tie it. My headpiece is from Acios and Redrose Jewellry designed the cute fairy choker. Any of these pieces would look cute with simple day wear or as Roleplay accessories. In all of my looks, I’m wearing nail polish from [Rad Designs]. Five enchanting patterns on Slink and Belleza appliers, will have your fingers looking charmed.
Other items from this hunt are seen in multiple photos. The tree lantern is from Magnum Opus and is only 1 prim! Perfect for lighting up enchanted forests. A small twig setup with a fireflies lantern from HJM Designz would make an adorable addition to a hidden sanctuary. In the background, you can see a gray statue with blue flora from Darkmatter that could be a great focal point for secret garden. {Sickly SWEET} created the bench I’m sitting on. Several singles poses allow the user ample choices for admiring their surroundings.
From Tipsters there’s a beautifully crafted fairy tip jar. Is that blue ball of flame going to be used for good or bad? You’ll have to find out. But I would think it’s a good thing since my dragon buddies from =EC Designs= Gacha don’t appear to be afraid of her. Dragon Buddies come in both a rezzable follower or a hover version. The fatpack is also available for those who want them all. Oh, and did I mention they talk when clicked? Each Dragon Buddy has a few unique phrases that give them their own personality.

As I’ve said before, Autumn or fall is my favorite season. I took a look through Uber a few days ago and saw a few things that sparked my interest due to this month’s theme.
First off the hair was something I saw in another blog by Deebles called Like butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth. Once I saw the picture, I had to grab the hair. I just love little foxes and the hat on this hair by TRUTH is darling. Besides the various hair colors, Foxy comes with an accessory hud that enables the user to switch between multiple colors of the fox hat. Additionally, if you find yourself to be a bit more well endowed in the bust department, there’s two included versions for bustier ladies. Duplicate versions without the hat are also included.
My loving sl husband came with me while I was shopping and he saw me drooling over this sweater by erratic with the Eiffel Tower on the front in a cute knit pattern. So he bought it for me. :3 So shoutout to him for spoiling me. ❤ I absolutely love how well made it is and the fit is purrfect! Please note, this top is made exclusively for the Maitreya Lara body. There’s a nice variety of colors and prints to choose from if La Tour d’Eiffel is not your thing.
The knit leggings by .miss chelsea. I’m wearing look really nice and detailed. A variety of colors and patterns inspired by the season are available; you can buy them separately, in basic packs of four color/patterns, or all of them in the fatpack. Included are fits for many of the main mesh body types such as Maitreya, all Belleza bodies, Slink, and the TMP body. What I didn’t realize but found to be ingenious is that the pants come with an alpha hud that lets you hide a few different lengths of the pant leg. Very helpful for wearing boots.
I’m not normally the type of person to buy skins, but I took a gamble and tried the Glam Affair demos for the skins at Uber. They looked really pretty and the price really is a bargain for all the options each skin comes with. The one I ended up getting is Caroline – Exotic. One skin comes with multiple brow and makeup options. The plus for Maitreya loving ladies is that we don’t need appliers (unless you’re using slink hands/feet that is).
After such a shopping excursion I had to sit down. One place I can’t seem to explore enough is the City of Serenity, owned by a few builder friends I know. Their bright city has a few shops, a bar, a shooting range, ballroom, and lots more. Come explore when you can after you check out this month’s Uber. 🙂
Help me! I’m drowning in gifts! I can’t believe how many wonderful creations Fi’s Hunts’ Warm Socks Hunt 2 & Gacha Event has in store for everyone. The hunt is still going on from now to November 30th (Links below). With so many goodies, I can’t quite decide what to show you first this time. There’s shoes, stockings, sweater dresses, and cute furniture pieces to decorate for the cold seasons ahead. For this post, I will be putting the credits after each series of photos to avoid confusion since there’s so many items pictured.
With the temperature dropping, I’ve had to find new socks and stockings to keep my toes warm. Luckily, Sweet Tea Couture made a couple cute stockings along with cute garters that come with omega and slink appliers. The garters are resizeable to fit any avatar. Here I’ve paired it with a romper from Blueberry so you can see how high one set go, plus I just love this little romper for hanging about the house or a quick jaunt out with the kids. I’m also wearing a pair of ankle boots from Euphoria Couture’s WSH2 Gacha machine. For the other pair of socks, I wore a pair of Blueberry jeans, a sweater from Kita’s Sideshow, and the ultra rare Nordic Winds Boots from Euphoria Couture’s gacha. The gacha ankle boots are made for slink flat feet and I think I found my new kicking-it-around boots.
While I was dressing, I happened upon the hunt gift from Euphoria Couture which my sl hubby seemed to like as he was more than happy to cuddle for a bit while I snapped a few pictures. The shirt is roomy (as if I’d stolen it from my husband’s closet) and comes with a pair of bootie socks to keep your toes warm. On my legs are the rain socks from TRASHED that come with Omega, Slink, and TMP appliers. I like these because the rain drops go all the way down the leg. TRASHED is also giving out the shark socks seen in the second picture which come in multiple sizes to fit anyone’s feet. The piece we’re cuddling on is a mudroom shelf with cuddles from Magnum Opus; with singles and couples poses, I can see this being useful outside in some tucked away corner of the yard.

Next I decided to try on a sweater and legging look with boots from Country Couture. The sweater fits nicely and the leggings come with many applier options including omega. No worries about needing mesh feet either; they’re resizeable and quite waterproof. I added a necklace and earrings set from Redrose Jewellry. The jewelry set are cute little socks that catch the light at just the right angle. Female and male versions are included. The fireplace in my living room from Love Everlasting Plantpets was so warm I didn’t even have to sit too close to it and it is perfect for a mountain lodge or getting ready for the winter holidays. Don’t forget to put your Hot Cocoa and cookies tipjar out for Santa. And if you get sleepy after a big dinner, An Lema’s Chaise lounge offers a relaxing spot to rest.

For my next look I am wearing a sweater dress from WICKED that I absolutely adore. It has a nice fit, is elegant and chic, and warm! I was pleased again with WICKED’s hunt gift. The heels from Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes fit nicely once I resized them with the included script and gave my outfit a soft feminine touch. Some of the other shoes pictured on the steps are from Lindy Mondern’s gacha machine but are not mesh feet friendly if that is what you are looking for.

Well it looks like I found something to wear. Time to step outside! An Lema’s rug makes a great welcome mat and Love Everlasting’s gacha tree cozies make for an inviting front porch. If you’re the type of person who loves to decorate early, make sure to snag the hunt gift from Magnum Opus. This snowman is a whimsical addition to any yard. The sweater comes with two knotted sweaters that fit around your shoulders or waist. Even with some belly showing I was warm as could be. Okay, stepping out into the cold now. I’m ready to stay warm in the winter. 🙂
