Can You Hear the Whispers All Across the Room?

Quiet. Silence. Deafening stillness fills my room without your presence. My mind spins a mile a minute, then slows like grass in a gentle breeze. How do I do this again? Being on my own without another voice overpowering mine?
Comfort. Normal. Your presence was constant but what about your mind? Always elsewhere. Together but alone. Now I’m alone but no longer lonely. Finding myself again, remembering who I am and where I want to go.

The Cart Sale has been running for about two weeks now and we have about one week left! If you’ve missed previous posts, the Cart Sale is a shopping event where all items are 50L or less. Today I am giving you more peeks at what you can find there. Be sure to check the event out before it ends on April 15th.

One of the items I am wearing comes from Dark Water Designs. The Crochet Overlay Top is a cute form-fitting top and has a HUD included with a few color options. Sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, and Belleza Freya, Venus, and Isis mesh bodies are included. Next to me on the bed are a few items from Dark Knight Decor; the tea kettle and macaroons come in separate sets but go well together for a sweet afternoon treat. The lantern next to me is from The Dark Fae. Turn this cute piece on and light up your room with a bit of whimsy that comes in quite a few colors to pick from. Girl, Put Your Records On, Tell Me Your Favorite Song

Hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy in these crazy times. I know I’m slowly starting to go a bit more insane… With all of the time at home, you’d think we would be more productive with projects we’ve left unfinished for a while, but alas, we’re just trying to cope in these strange circumstances. One of the best ways to do so is to listen to some good music. What’s your favorite band, genre, song? Whatever makes you relax or feel upbeat, turn it up and dance around in your room or while you make some food.

Another good way to have some fun is shopping! I know some are struggling to save money while they are out of work, but there are some great deals in SecondLife that won’t break your bank. The Cart Sale at the Wash has begun and is chock full of items that are 50L or less. Some of what I am currently wearing is from the Cart Sale. My dress was created by Sweet Willows and there are seven different color/pattern options to pick from and only costs 10L. Every single color/pattern comes in mesh sizes fitted for Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique and Hourglass, and the Belleza Freya bodies. My hat is from Tiar, and while it is called Mens hat, I found it gives a fun twist to my look. It is modifiable to make sure you have the purrfect fit.

Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls

Hey peeps! Linden Labs has made it so the SL Home and Garden Expo has a few more days! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out on a great way to contribute to Relay For Life. As I stated in my previous post, there are creators with items up for grabs that contribute either 100% sale donations or 50% sale donations to RFL. In addition there is an auction and many creators have decorated homes to compete for the most donations to RFL. One of the homes I visited is on the water and named the Beach Cabin. House No. 11 is a cozy little home with a small living area, spacious foyer and bedroom upstairs, and an outdoor kitchen and dining area perfect for enjoying a view of the water. The dock also offers easy access to moor a boat. Come take a look at the wonderful work Alec Rogue has done on his build and donate some linden if you can to his donation kiosk. Every linden donated is a vote for their home and 100% go to RFL!

Some Girls Wear Jeans So Tight ’cause it Feels So Right, Yeah

February, the month of love and romance, is almost over. While most think of it as the time for couples, it’s also a good time to show ourselves a bit of self-love. A reminder if you will, that YOU are amazing and deserving of love just the way you are. Whether you fit into one of society’s supposed “perfect” boxes or dance to the beat of your own drum, we’re all a work in progress just trying to win our battles each day. So in honor of love and being true to ourselves, treat yourself this month. With the onset of spring fast approaching, I often find myself wanting to redecorate to give my surroundings a fresh look. I’m Countin’ On You to Carry Me Through

Hello everyone! It’s been some time since I’ve last posted. My Muse took a little holiday but she’s been tempted back by a few events that have recently begun. Today I am sharing an item from one of my favorite shops, =EC Designs=, that is currently on sale at the SL Home and Garden Expo.

=EC Designs= has created a beautiful raft that will be perfect for lazy summer days in the heat on the river. There are so many poses loaded into this raft that you will never run out of options whether you are single or cuddled up with a special someone. Six avatars can sit on the All Aboard Raft which means you have quite a few seating combinations between six singles, 3 couples, or some variation of the two. While couples do need to sit in a certain spot for the poses to mesh appropriately for female and male couples, individuals may sit in any location and choose from female or male pose menus. No matter which menu you’re using, there are TONS of options. While at the SL Home and Garden Expo, this fantastic piece will be discounted and 100% of its sales go to Relay for Life so you will be contributing to a good cause while also getting a good deal! Every Second Counts ’cause There’s No Second Try

Saying goodbye to the past. Took my last look. Never turning back.

Leaves falling, slowly turning darker, drier, more brittle with each passing day. Ground crumbling beneath our feet. Announcing a change running its course. You can’t see the end. It blends in with the horizon, farther than you can see. Further than me.

Each step takes me closer. To the Dark. To the Light. Will you join me on this path? Or leave me to find my way? As I chase the Dream, you hesitate, scared to take the Leap.

Okay people, we are getting down to the wire with the Cart Sale at the Wash! Only a few more days before it ends and you’ll be sad if you miss out! I’ve gathered a few more things together to show you what you can find for 10L. All links below the credits for those too eager to wait!

First up, in my first look, I am sharing the funky fun top that #hashbang! has out for sale in six fun colors. The Vaporized Top gives me an 80’s/90’s vibe with the layers and patterns on the chest. Sizes for this top include five standard mesh sizes and fitted mesh models for 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, Maitreya, 2 Tonic, TMP, eBody, and Occasin mesh bodies. Guys will find a similar top for them in 7 different fitted mesh models for male mesh bodies and a standard classic fit. Behind me, I am using a backdrop from the Dark Fae which is also at the sale. Several colors are available and they are mod so you can resize them to suit your needs. I love the vibrant color and could not resist the purple one.

In my second look, I am wearing the Margo set from battle fairy. Five colors are available and each comes in sizes for 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The fit is good but it is short, so careful bending over ladies! While not pictured, there are matching heels up for sale too. From Dark Knight Decor you’ll find lovely flower arrangements to add some charm to your home. I’ve set out one of the Carnation vases they have at the Cart Sale on my little side table. If you’re looking for bigger arrangements or other wall decor, they have just what you need. Since this was for my bedroom, I grabbed a room divider from DigitalDreams to add a little extra privacy. Several different designs are available to choose from so you’re sure to find one to match any part of your home. It’s Never Quite As It Seems

There is a strange magic in the air; I sensed it not long ago, shifting and turning about as it changes directions. Before the new moon, my energies were high, my hopes great. Like the sea, the tidal changes keep me off balance but one thing is for certain. I will never quit dreaming and feeling the magic with every change. Change, that thing we all detest because it brings the strange, the unknown, the chaos, and often the painful. Yet, with each change, no matter dark or light, there is beauty.

So as we embrace the coming of summer, shedding the dregs of a cold winter, remember to take with you winter’s bittersweetness. Without the dark, there is no light.  Take the darkness, mold it and shape it as you dream, using it to fuel your passions for the coming seasons and your dreams.

Less than a day left of the Cart Sale and I’m still finding gems to pick up. Today I am wearing some cute earrings from Poème that are mandalas and come in a range of colors to choose from. Pair them with your favorite bohemian look or some jeans and t-shirt for a little extra charm.

On my back you can see a new tattoo I found from InnerJoy Love Designs called Henna. It’s a beautifully done tattoo that comes with Omega appliers with the option of light or dark depending on how new you want it to look. Classic tattoo layers are also included. For 10L, this is a real steal. I also picked up more nail polish from De’Fient Unicorn. This set is for Maitreya Lara nails only and has a hud with fIve color options for both hands and feet.

For the guys, there’s some nice casual clothing to snatch up. My friend is wearing the shirt from the Faded Denim Weekend set by Dark Water Designs.This set comes with two versions of the shirt, with or without the undershirt, in TMP, 3 fitted mesh, and 3 standard mesh sizes. Shorts come in four mesh sizes. Overall fit was good and the set is set up for mixing and matching with other clothing.

Lastly I am sharing a newer release from Dictatorshop that is currently at ROMP. The Contempo bed is loaded with all of your favorite animations and matching leathers to go with the Contempo line. There are three different options for sale; PG, Adult Vanilla, and Adult Kink. PG version has only the cuddles and snuggles, no adult animations. Just Start Loving Me

It’s been over a week since Valentine’s day. But there’s still plenty of fluff and hearts floating around the grid you wouldn’t think the day of love had passed. If you’re looking for some new furniture that has a romantic touch, there’s a few pieces from Dictatorshop that are purrfect year-round. Have a looksy at some of my new bedroom additions. For the centerpiece of your or your loved one’s bedroom, Dictatorshop has a romantic bed at Cosmopolitan at 20% off full price through February 24th. This bed only comes in the Adult version but there are plenty of PG animations to use if that’s not your style. The stool that came in this February’s Bound Box matches the main texture of the bed. Edit: The stool’s textures can be changed between a variety of love and floral themed textures and the bed has some nice soft colors to choose from that have a spring feel. It is an adult bed, but there’s menus for singles, couples cuddles and kisses, and massage as well.

On sale at the mainstore is a fabulous addition to the Chesterfield set, the Chesterfield Ladies’ Chaise. This piece is perfect for lounging in your bedroom with a book, relaxing, or snuggling up with your fella. My favorite part of this set is that there are bento animations that are just so adorable and too perfect for words. If you love being cute and flirty or love taking photos with your love, there are lots of nice poses to choose from. Like the other pieces in the set, you can change the texture of the leather and metals through the hud in the back.

Another gem that was inspired by all of the romantic ideas of Valentine’s day was the Lip Chairs and Thrones. Choose either the PG version of the sofa or the adult version with all of the throne options in the Dicatorshop line.  Both sets include the choice of either regular lips or a mustache lips sofa. Animations included are single sits, cuddles, and dances for the PG sofa.

Wake Up Where the Clouds Are Far Behind Me

Good day folks! I’m feeling a little light on my feet today and maybe a touch whimsical. I feel a bit like Dorothy, floating up high with the birds and headed somewhere over a rainbow in the clouds. Not quite sure what’s in these balloons but they are lighter than air! I’m sharing just a couple more items today that you can find at the Cart Sale. Tomorrow is the last day so check it out ASAP.

My dress for this picture comes from Classy Chics and is made only for the Maitreya body. There are ten color/prints up for sale for 10L and each comes with a tintable sleeve option that adds a bit more coverage and adds a subtle cutesy vibe. Pantie appliers in white and black are also included since it is such a short dress. My shoes are from Lourdes of London and are made for Slink only. There are five colors available to pick from and they make great staple pieces for any wardrobe. Dress them up for a night out or dress them down with a cute pair of jeans. Lastly, I wore the panties from Girlush’s lingerie set instead of the ones that came with the dress. This set is fitted for Maitreya as well and has a smexy lacey texture that just barely hides what it needs to. All of these items I’ve described are on sale for 10L at the Cart Sale.

Just for fun, the balloon floatie I’m sitting on is from Blueberry and is a group gift OR you can get it off the Marketplace for 1L. It comes in a pack of 10 floaties with really cute rubber duckies, froggies, other balloons and more.
