Night draws closer as I wander amongst the shadows of the room. A soft hum of anticipation buzzing under your skin. Tingles, hair standing up on the back of your neck, pulse beating hard and fast.
Fear keeps you frozen in place as I drift near; your breath catches in excitement as I inhale your scent. With an exhale, my cigarette’s smoke mists across your face. You fight a cough. I arch a brow.

With a lazy heeled turn, I make my way back to the smooth wood desk piled high with manuscripts with hidden secrets you yearn to glean. Perhaps one day you’ll learn them. Perhaps one day you’ll pass them along to your children.

With a predatory smile from my lips as I lounge back in my leather chair, cigarette holder held aloft, you gulp and think to yourself that perhaps you may never see another night again.

Can You Hear the Whispers All Across the Room?

Quiet. Silence. Deafening stillness fills my room without your presence. My mind spins a mile a minute, then slows like grass in a gentle breeze. How do I do this again? Being on my own without another voice overpowering mine?
Comfort. Normal. Your presence was constant but what about your mind? Always elsewhere. Together but alone. Now I’m alone but no longer lonely. Finding myself again, remembering who I am and where I want to go.
Quiet. Silence. Filling the emptiness with songs of my heart. Searching for new passions to re-ignite my flames. You may see me, but you won’t recognize the woman I’m becoming. Whispering, you’ll wonder how I became what I am. Who I am.

The Cart Sale has been running for about two weeks now and we have about one week left! If you’ve missed previous posts, the Cart Sale is a shopping event where all items are 50L or less. Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls

Hey peeps! Linden Labs has made it so the SL Home and Garden Expo has a few more days! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out on a great way to contribute to Relay For Life. As I stated in my previous post, there are creators with items up for grabs that contribute either 100% sale donations or 50% sale donations to RFL. In addition there is an auction and many creators have decorated homes to compete for the most donations to RFL. One of the homes I visited is on the water and named the Beach Cabin. House No. 11 is a cozy little home with a small living area, spacious foyer and bedroom upstairs, and an outdoor kitchen and dining area perfect for enjoying a view of the water. The dock also offers easy access to moor a boat. Come take a look at the wonderful work Alec Rogue has done on his build and donate some linden if you can to his donation kiosk. So Hard to Choose, Between the Pleasure and the Pain

I Found Solace in the Strangest Place Way in the Back of My Mind

Looking back on the past 12 or so months, I have been battling demons and dealing with some of the toughest health issues of my life. Four ER trips, a two-month stint in the hospital following major surgery, and multiple traumas that no one should have to go through made up the majority of my 2019. Every year has its ups and downs, but seldom have I felt close to breaking. I felt betrayed by my body. Unable to get through my day without sheer exhaustion from struggling to function.

And yet…I’ve pulled through the darkness. I’ve climbed over that terrifying mountain and made it to the other side, finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. While I’ve beaten the hardest part of this past year, the road ahead won’t be easy as I heal, strengthen, and grow as a person both mentally and physically. Thankfully, I won’t be alone on my journey. My family, friends, and partner have all been behind me, supporting and cheering me on each step of the way in my recovery. While I’ve never doubted their support, I admit to doubting myself at times. I’m only human.

With the dawn of a new year and a new decade, I hope to find renewed strength and love for myself. 2019 knocked me down but 2020 is already showing promise if I continue to move forward. As always, I’m not going to give in. Not going to fall. I’m still breathing. ♥

Everybody’s Comin’, Leave Your Body at the Door

Hello monsters and ghouls! There is a new event called Trick or Treat that started October 21st and I am excited to share it with you all! If you like gachas and Halloween, this is an event for you; play for free and play all the gachas like normal or you can buy the VIP Hud which will give you a grand prize once you’ve played each gacha until you collect all prizes. No gacha item is repeated so there is no worries about duplicate items. Find more info on how it all works and landmarks here. Now on to some previews!

I’m still trying to figure out my costume for Halloween so I picked up a few things to mix and match with. At The Little Bat, the Grand Prize is a set of Monochrome Leggings that have several different patterns for the top section to pick from. This set comes in an omega applier. Commons include other leggings variations and mesh nails fitted for Maitreya and Slink hands.

My top is from Squishy Fluff and is one of several of the Treat tops with words on it. It comes fitted for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Kemono, and Ruth2 mesh bodies. Collect all ten tops and get comfy for the house or out and about. Squishy Fluff also has trick prizes that include raisin dresses and Pumpkin Spice Lax.

To complete my look, I picked up a necklace from Astara. They have both good and bad witch crystal necklaces so play until you get one you prefer. Cubic Cherry made cute horns, eyes, and a mask for the grand prize. The horns seemed to match my look for this evening the most and nestle perfectly in my hair. Lastly, I couldn’t forget my Frankenbucket with candy and my gummy worm to keep me energized for partying all night long.

I Feel Your Whisper Across the Sea

“Hey, wake up sleepyhead.” She nudges the snoring figure stretched out across a well padded lounge chair. A mumble from the dark haired man responds with a slight adjustment of his head resting on his arms as she continues to nudge his shoulders. Her hands begin softly rubbing over his shoulders, her quiet humming accompanied by distant bird calls.

After a few moments, his eyes flicker open as he stirs, waking up but pretending to slumber still as he listens to her hum a soft song. It was a rare treat to catch her humming, and he cherished every second. Suddenly, a finger jabbed into his back, making him jump up and grunt in surprise. “Ugggh… why you gotta wake me up like that, babe?” Shifting his body around, he sat up on the lounger, swiftly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against his chest, making her squeal and laugh as he playfully jabbed her back with his finger.

“You were already awake! I could tell when you stopped snoring.” She grinned up at him. As his arms move to hold her close, she reaches up to pull his head down for a soft kiss. His arms tighten around her for a moment, a smile on his lips as she pulls away, hand still holding his head.

Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, he chuckles, “Nothing gets past you, does it?”

I’d Howl at Your Beauty Like a Dog in Heat

Lately life has taken me on some twists and turns, some good and some quite painful. Opportunities presented themselves. I took the plunge. Did I land on my feet? Yes. And no.

I could spin a tale about finding love…then losing it. I could write about the heartache and sadness, the pain and emptiness. But you’ve felt it, feel it, know the taste of it in your mouth and the hollowness in your chest where a strange ache never truly dies.

Gradually the pain fades when you’re not paying attention; you hardly notice because you’re so busy trying to distract yourself from the pain. How long has it been since you could breathe freely? When did your smile stop feeling forced? Brief moments of reprieve are then cut short when you remember the pain; it all comes flooding back again. Did it hurt this bad the first time? Is it maybe a little less? How do you know when you’ve healed?

I’ve been reflecting on some of the people that have come into my life recently, how I’ve spent my time with them, my words, my actions and what they’ve said and done. Recent pain has forced me to take a step back to look at what paths lay before me. Should I take the path over here that most would object to? Or do I take the route more often traveled? Do I dare tread on the one my heart is drawn to? Mistakes and lessons lie behind me but I stand at a crossroads again, not ready to make a choice just yet. Not ready to take another step until my feet are planted more firmly on the ground.

For now I work on grounding myself again, building the foundation of my soul until it can withstand any storm. One day I will be myself again. In time I’ll forget the sting. Someday I’ll smile, blow a kiss, and be on my way, flowing like water onto the next path of my journey.

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Life tends to take hold just as I get my groove back. Today I am sharing a piece from February that Dictatorshop released that I was in love with from first glance. I honestly think every woman ought to have a tantra chair in her home. The curving slope is so sensual and elegant and to me it just seems perfect for lounging. Many of the single sits are perfect for staging a surprise for your significant other too. In my picture, I am wearing the Poppy Jacket and Poppy Leggings from Blueberry. Both come in sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique & Hourglass, and Belleza Venus, Isis, and Freya bodies. The leggings come with a hud that allows you to pick which type of booty you want because Blueberry created a new Blueberry booty but also included the standard booty option. You can also choose a yoga foot version or an under boot version in either booty type on the included HUD. An additional fun button is the wedgie animation because these leggings really hug every curve! The jackets include the option to have a double color effect on the cuffs and part of the front.
