I Got a Pocketful of Sunshine

Another gorgeous day here! I hope you all are enjoying the sun and staying cool. Today I want to share more great finds from the Cart Sale to use while you try to cool off in the heat wave that is upon us.

Like I mentioned in my last blog post, I am excited for different summer adventures but this weekend got to be a little too hot! So I decided I needed to find a good way to cool off and well, the best way to do that is around water. One of the other items I found from =EC Designs= at the Cart Sale is this awesome raft. Built from sturdy lumber and decked out with comfy pillows and a blanket to lay on while you sunbathe, this raft is perfect for floating down the stream or hanging out on the lake. A raft can hold two singles, or a couple and has animations for singles for females and males as well as couple poses. Poses are adjustable so you can find just the right spot to cuddle your honey or get just the right amount of water on your toes.

From Mishmash Fusion I am showing you a few different versions of the Xanadu Trikini. I invited a few friends over to chill with me and we turned it into a swimsuit party on a couple of my new rafts. First up, my lovely friend Cara is wearing the Blue Paisley version of the Trikini for Slink Physique. Miri is wearing a special hunt edition in red on the Maitreya Lara body. Find this lovely piece until the hunt ends this Friday (though Myst told me she may leave it out longer). I am wearing the Blue Transparent version on my Maitreya Lara body. Sizes included for all versions are Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique & Hourglass, eBody, Standard Large, and Standard Small. General fit seems nice on the Slink Physique body but there is minor clipping on the tummy and hips of the Maitreya when moving. This is in part due to shape, different ao movements, and the way the original mesh creator built the mesh. Please try a demo to be sure of what you are going to see before purchasing. The transparent versions are very transparent and do show all bits so wear with caution! Or tempt that eye candy with it. 😉

Flesh to Blood to Bone to Love… Twisted…

Hello my lovelies! It seems my witchy side is persisting as we get closer to Samhain and the Day of the Dead. I seem to have acquired the gift of divination for a time. Or maybe it has something more to do with this Twisted Hunt that’s been going on all September. Haven’t heard of it? Well let me tell you a little story…

Twisted Hunt is well known as the hardest hunt in SL. Its Organizers are evil and the merchants are ebil. And no that was NOT a typo. Ebilness is reserved for the truly twisted of twisted people and fair warning, you’ll lose your mind and hair on this hunt. Merchants are allowed to use only a certain number of visible decoys but who’s to say they won’t bury a million cubes in the walls and rename their building parts? In an effort to ward of would-be cheaters, merchants are very crafty and downright wicked at times in hiding their prize cubes. So why go through all the trouble for a little cube? Because Twisted Hunt has arguably some of the best creators on the grid offering FREE prize hunt cubes. Merchants like Mishmash Fusion..

The gown and blindfold I am wearing come as a set of standard mesh sizes as the main hunt prize for this hunt at Mishmash Fusion. Spirits sending you visions of the Apocalypse? Randomly spouting prophecies worthy of the Ancient Greek oracles? You’re going to need this gown! The beautiful rich fabric will keep you warm as you scry in crystal balls by moonlight and read fortunes in animal guts. The blindfold comes in two versions, one of which is unrigged. I’m wearing the LQ version. I did have to squish my boobs into my dress but that was because I wanted to fit in a size M. Other than that, no shape modifications. Find this lovely gown before the event ends! My necklace and earrings are from Sn@tch and come with easy to use resize scripts. This hunt prize is simply lovely and is a great addition to a witch or seer’s wardrobe.

I also wanted to share the cool crystals and big stone looking thing behind me. The crystal clusters are the Twisted Hunt gift from Attitude is An Artform. These beauties are very low prim and can be linked together without making the prim count multiply like rabbits. The stone piece is carved with old Celtic symbols for the five elements; earth, fire, water, air, and spirit. When clicked, a smokey mist is emitted from the circle as spirits are called forth. With only a few days left in April, there’s still a surprising number of events that have not been open long and will be ending at the end of the month. A bit like stardom for some people I’d expect. Short lived fame, but fantastic nonetheless. Today I’m sharing a couple things you can find at ROMP and a hunt gift for the Fame & Fortune Hunt. Heads up, I’m featuring an item with adult poses along with singles and couples cuddles.

Will You Still Love Me?

Have you ever wanted to channel your inner Audrey Hepburn? The lady had quirk and class that, coupled with her confidence, made her an extremely inspiring woman. April’s round of Fi’s Hunts is inspired by the lovely lady and named after one of her most iconic films, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I’m sharing peeks into what you can find and the hunt has less than a week left so get hunting! You won’t want to miss this because this will be the last hunt until Fiona is settled from moving in real life, likely in September. Hunt info is below with all the appropriate links.

My first look has a few different hunt gifts thrown together. A staple in every woman’s wardrobe should be the little black dress and ~*Moolala*~ offers a modern take on the look. Instead of plain black, this dress is textured with subtle almost pearl shaped circles with a fun flowery print design on the side. The dress falls just below the butt without revealing too much skin. Standard mesh sizes and fitted mesh sizes are included. I did have to add a bit of gravity to my boobs so that one of my Maitreya Lara body alphas would not show, but it was pretty easy to do. It’s such a sweet dress that it was worth a little shape modding. I paired this mini dress with the hunt gift from WICKED. WICKED’s offering is a cute pair of pink heels for slink high feet. On the strap, a small jeweled flower adds a bit of sparkle. To complete my look, I crowned my head with the tiara from Redrose Jewelry and wore the included earrings. The tiara is so shiny and reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn’s famous look in Breakfast at Tiffany’s I had to try it on. And you know what? I think I’m going to keep it on for awhile. 😀

I was feeling so pretty and wanted to strike a pose as I took some photos, so I used the hunt gift from PixelArt. Their gift features a backdrop with various animated backgrounds to choose from, a pose stand with lots of sassy poses to strike, and lights that bring this stage to life.

My second look has a more classic black dress from Emerald Couture for the hunt. I kept the tiara and earrings on but went with the included heels for slink high feet. The dress is simple but has a lovely silhouette and comes in standard mesh sizes that still work pretty well with mesh bodies. The heels are edgy and yet I can imagine Audrey wearing something just like this.

The furniture pieces in my photos are from Simply Shelby for the hunt. Included in the set are all the framed photos, table with vase, and the chair. The chair has quite a few poses for females and a couple unisex and male poses. Quotes from Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Audrey Hepburn herself are framed along with pictures of black cats. This set would be perfect for a foyer or any upscale fashion shop.

Hi all! Life has been pretty hectic and crazy all month since I started a new term at my university. I’m just finishing up week three and I’m still trying to get into the groove. We all have stressful things in our lives that make us just want to bury our heads under the blankets, but if we try to have a little fun amidst the chaos, it can boost our motivation and see us through our obstacles. Yes, I know it sounds cheesy and cliché. But it does help! This past Saturday, my friends at =EC Designs= and owners of the sim named Serenity City sponsored a race. Not just any race, an ANARCHY race. This means the only rule was to get the fastest time without missing any checkpoints. My Secondlife hubby was a dragster racer in SL years ago, so he was all for spending an evening on the track. I mostly hung out by the racer’s lounge to listen to the DJ, dance, and watch the time board as I cheered him on. Funny thing about this race that made it killer fun? Racers could use any vehicle. Car, motorcycle, plane, tricycle, lawn chair, you name it. Yes, I said lawn chair. My Secondlife hubby won a race in his Lawn Chair of Doom. Pictured here is both of us on his tricycle for one lap he did.  Lol I had a blast and am looking forward to other events Cara and Jaxx will be throwing at their city.

So what did I wear to this race? My black dress is a hunt gift from Marquesse. If you haven’t heard, there’s a hunt going on called the Breakfast at Tiffany’s Hunt that started April 7th and runs until April 30th. This will be the last Fi’s Hunt until probably September because Fiona is moving in real life. So if you’re looking for a some new free goodies and like to hunt, get started asap! I’ll be sharing peeks at some of the gifts available from the hunt.

As I said, the black dress I’m wearing is from Marquesse as a hunt gift. It comes in five standard mesh sizes. The same goes for the white bolero that comes with the dress. While I had no issues with fitting the dress to my Maitreya Lara body, I was not able to make wear the bolero because it didn’t quite fit over my bust and dress. Even without the bolero, this dress is fun and cute for watching races from the sidelines. Grab it while you can!

For the second round of the race, I wore a dress and jacket combo my sister gifted me from R.icielli. On the HUD, there are several color options for not only the dress, but also different sections of the jacket. You can even hide the dress with a click of a button to wear just the jacket. Standard mesh sizes are included along with fitted meshes for the Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink bodies. I adore how this combo fits on my mesh body and really makes every curve look flawless. Needless to say, my hubby loved the outfit too.

With any outfit, the right shoes are essential. With both of my looks I wore Mishmash Fusion’s newest shoe release in black. New Orleans is a sassy strappy pair of heels with a bow tied on the back to keep them from looking too severe. These lovely gems are fitted for slink high feet and come on so many colors you will just want to get them all. Myst also released a similar pair with covered toes so be sure to check those out. Both sets of shoes are textures to perfection. If you’ve been looking for a cute pair of heels that can go with practically anything, these are for you. Believe me, I haven’t taken them off in over a week!

Hello readers! I hope this post finds you in good spirits and sun-kissed. I’ve been working out in my garden a bit and setting out some new toys I’ve recently discovered. This is just a heads up that the featured item in this post does contain content suited for 18+ readers. Images are SFW, but content is not suited for people under 18. Read below for the full post.

Now, as I was saying. I was working out in the garden, setting up this new trellis from Dictatorshop when my hubby logs on and spies my short skirt. *facepalms* He promptly scooped me up like I was some prized booty..er treasure. Well.. One thing led to another and I was more than happy to oblige. Spring fever is running high and Dictatorshop’s new trellis just adds to the fun. So what can this fine piece of wood, I mean trellis, do?

As you can see, there’s some nice decorative roses and grass with cuddles and kisses. The pose my husband has me in the picture is in the lift menu named GotYou. The grass and roses are safe to leave out at all times, but if you’re feeling the heat picking up, click the small Dictatorshop logo on the bottom of one of the back posts. This accesses the naughty menus with Femdom and Maledom adult poses. Once a menu is chosen, a Trapmat rezzes in place of the cuddle grass. There are RLV capabilities in the trellis but the menus work great for people who don’t use RLV too. I can personally guarantee this because I do not use RLV at all. Once both partners sit and choose their appropriate role, the fun times begin with plenty of pose options. Dominants have control of the menu and can access the GiveProps button for any extra toys athat may be needed.

What makes this piece great is that it looks perfect in the yard and functions well for both PG and adult use. Security of the menu can be set to owner only, which keeps any random wanderers from messing with the trellis. While the grass and roses are safe to leave out, you can clear them to save on prims as well. You can also change the texture of the trellis with the included HUD to match your house or other garden décor.

A Bright Sunshiny Day Part 2

I really do love the bursts of sunshine I’ve been seeing lately. A little bit of sunlight is an instant mood boost that brings out the inner kid in everyone and just..well..makes everything seem not so depressing. So, in the spirit of spring sunshine and fun, I’m sharing a couple other looks and a cool carousal from Fi’s Hunts’ The Chicken Egg Hunt which runs until the end of March. Details and links are below the blog credits.

First I’m sharing this darling little dress I got from ~*Moolala*~. It makes me think of Easter Sunday brunches or tea time with friends. While there are not fitted meshes for mesh bodies or fitted mesh, I was still able to use the standard mesh sizes on my Maitreya body without any trouble. I’m not usually a fan of pink, but this dress is just too fun to pass up.

My other outfit is a mix from two other hunt gifts. On top, I’m wearing the shirt from Country Couture’s complete outfit. The outfit includes rigged mesh, fit mesh, and fitted meshes for Maitreya, Belleza, and the Slink bodies for the shirt and jeans and a pair of boots. Seen here is only the top from the outfit. A cute chick printed on the top makes for a fun casual top for any day. The pants are the gift from {D.o.R.K} and come with a HUD that has 8 different texture options. Blue and pink are the base texture options; the variation is in the eggs all over the pants in different patterns. This was a very fun and playful design, so good job {D.o.R.K}!

Lastly, the egg/chicken/hay thing I’m sitting on in various pictures are from =EC Designs=’s Carousal. This ingenious design harks back to that age old question: Which came first? The Chicken or the Egg? We may never know but you can certainly have fun going in circles while you ponder this question. Sit on a chicken or in an egg or in the hay on the carousal’s center and cuddle with someone. All animations are PG appropriate and cuddles are just sweet and tender. ❤

A Bright Sunshiny Day with the Chicken Egg Hunt

If you’re like me, you’re looking out your window and hoping to see a bit of sunshine. Are you ready for spring? I know I am. Easter is a bit early this year, inspiring visions of spring, and you can see its effects everywhere. Fi’s Hunts has a hunt going on this month called The Chicken Egg Hunt and it will continue from now until the end of the month. So I’m hopping right into some sneak peeks of goodies to share with you all!

Addicted to Love: Add Some Red Hunt 3 Continued

Hello everyone! I’m bringing you more peeks into the hunt gifts from the Add Some Red Hunt 3 that you can find across the grid for free for February. Details for the hunt, Start Point, and links to the website and hints will be above the pictures.

Although somewhat inspired by Valentine’s Day, so many of the gifts are suited for many occasions or day-to-day wear. There’s less than a week left to grab these goodies so don’t delay!

One of my favorite finds from the hunt is this little red dress from [D.o.R.k] that comes in standard sizes and fitmesh. Paired with some of my new favorite heels from Mishmash Fusion, this dress is great for a day on the town with the girls or a lunch date with that special someone. I had no issues with fit on my Maitreya body with the fitted mesh option so I’m sure all you ladies will love it.

Mishmash Fusion’s hunt gift is a lovely textured red and black dress you could dress up for a date night. Along with the standard mesh sizes, Myst included fitted mesh for Maitreya, Slink Physique & Hourglass, and TMP bodies. Guys are in luck too because there’s also a men’s outfit that is not just another suit! It’s quite nice and badass so you better grab it while you can. With the dress from Mishmash Fusion, I’m wearing the hunt gift from Redrose Jewelry. These beautiful rubies will sparkle and catch the light as you dance the night away or add to a regal gown for formal occasions. My nails are painted with omega applier polish from Hapi*Rabi. Three shades of red with a lace-y/dot looking tip pattern keeps your nails looking flirty and fun.

The couch set I’m sitting on is another hunt gift for the Add Some Red Hunt from my friends at =EC Designs=. It seats two couples or four singles and has a nice selection of sits and cuddles. If you have a large room you need to fill up with a low number of prims, this is a great option. Bonus is that there’s a cute fire pit, a functional lamp, and cute picture frames for decoration.

Bombshie has designed an elegant dress for the hunt that I think would be most appropriate for an evening out. The fit was perfectly snug to show off every curve. Behind me is the full perm animated texture from SANNA that would be lovely for profile pictures or atmospheric effects.

For my last outfit, I decided to just chill on my Lit Heart outside in a t-shirt and jeans. The top is from Euphoria Couture’s hunt gift and comes in two versions. Across the front is the text “Addicted to Love” and well… Aren’t we all? The fit is quite snug (I had to fit size my boobs down to wear size M) but otherwise it’s a great top for casual days.

Valentine’s Day is less than a week away and I’ve been drowning in goodies so sweet you could eat them. Today I’m sharing clothing from Mishmash Fusion, =EC Designs=’s Kiss My Store hunt item, gifties from the third Add Some Red Hunt, and a couple Fifty Linden Friday deals. Mishmash Fusion has released for February a selection of outfits inspired by the sweetheart candies popularized by Valentine’s Day. I’m currently wearing the Romantic versions of the knotted t-shirt and jean combo but there’s also Dirty and Anti-Valentine’s flavored ones as well. Guys are in luck because Mystical made Mens’ Romantic and Anti-Valentine’s t-shirt sets too! Buy each color version you like or the fatpacks. I simply adore how these tops look especially when paired with Mishmash Fusion’s Love in Itself Heels for Slink High Feet. The heels have hearts on the back and front, lending a touch of playfulness to any outfit. My nails are painted in one of American Hunni’s omega nail appliers for the Add Some Red Hunt 3. My house is decorated with lots of goodies from several events going on this month. =EC Designs= is part of the Kiss My Store hunt and are offering up the lovely sofa I’m sitting on with my sister. It has single poses and several couple poses that would be cute for cuddles and pictures. So go find those lips to find the prize!

For the third Add Some Red Hunt, {Sickly SWEET} created a cute privacy screen with knick knacks and a lamp to put in an empty corner or to divide a room. Chiana Oh made this adorable ladybug pouffe seat that is perfect for a kids playroom or just a fun conversation piece in your home. I also discovered this cute bunny tip jar from Tipsters that I shrunk down to fit on my side table. Decor or tip jar, up to you.

For Fifty Linden Friday, I could not pass up on the Spilled Candy Hearts or the Lighted Pathway from +Half-Deer+. Piles of the sweetheart candies make for perfect kitchen decor and the lighted pathway works for a path or wall decor. {what next} released an adorable low prim bookcase and set of tables. I have been looking for a bookcase like this for awhile so this was a steal.
