February, the month of love and romance, is almost over. While most think of it as the time for couples, it’s also a good time to show ourselves a bit of self-love. A reminder if you will, that YOU are amazing and deserving of love just the way you are. Whether you fit into one of society’s supposed “perfect” boxes or dance to the beat of your own drum, we’re all a work in progress just trying to win our battles each day. So in honor of love and being true to ourselves, treat yourself this month. Buy yourself your favorite treat, watch your favorite show or movie, and just take a moment each day to look in the mirror and tell yourself “I’m awesome the way I am.”
With the onset of spring fast approaching, I often find myself wanting to redecorate to give my surroundings a fresh look. Sprucing up my home is therapeutic for me and I’ve found some lovely things recently. =EC Designs= has created some fun new furniture sets for your homes inworld which are currently being exclusively sold at the SL Home and Garden Expo. Hello again! I know it’s been a little longer than I expected since my last post but real life decided to bless me with a spring cold. I am doing better now and have some cute finds from the Cart Sale for you to see. A quick note; the Cart Sale now allows merchants to sell six items for 10 lindens, six items for 25 lindens, and one item for 50 lindens. Now on to the goodies!
One of the first goodies I’ve found at the Cart Sale was a very cute dress from Mishmash Fusion. The Someday Minidress comes in a selection of six colors, each for 25 lindens. Sizes included fit Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Isis, Freya, and Venus, and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. This cute dress has a lovely lace skirt overlay and small suspenders straps that add just a touch of quirk. If you look closely, I am wearing a tattoo with ravens by Innerjoy Love Tattoo. There are many beautiful and colorful tattoos for sale but I love ravens of the Worthy Life tattoo in black ink which comes in Maitreya and omega appliers and includes standard tattoo layers.
Although Halloween is over, I’m still feeling a little witchy. I decided to play with a bit of magic and organize some of my potion jars in the attic. I was aiming for something dark but…I think I used a little too many flower petals so if you see some luminescent butterflies, don’t be alarmed. If you are looking for a nice storage option, [noctis] has a beautiful shelf that has room for all the potion jars you collect. This shelf is the grand prize if you get the VIP Hud and collect all the pieces from [noctis]. Only like the jars? They make cute year round accent pieces for any corner of the house.
Nearby, you will find I have my grimoire set out. The Half Moon Market has created pieces that every witch needs, the grimoire being the most important in my opinion. It’s small yet detailed in its design. Other items include pumpkins, an athame, and potion bottles.
The last items from Trick or Treat I am sharing in this post are things I’m wearing. On my face are little tear drop tattoos. Unicult has several tattoos that come in Catwa and Omega appliers with multiple color options per tattoo. Collect them all and you’ll have something that goes with any outfit.
Lastly, Dark Passions has created super fun Halloween themed nail appliers for this event. These nails come in appliers for Slink, Maitreya, and Omega appliers. There are nine different sets to collect, and the grand prize if you have the VIP Hud. I personally would wear these year round and they make a great addition to any goth or edgy look.

Hello monsters and ghouls! There is a new event called Trick or Treat that started October 21st and I am excited to share it with you all! If you like gachas and Halloween, this is an event for you; play for free and play all the gachas like normal or you can buy the VIP Hud which will give you a grand prize once you’ve played each gacha until you collect all prizes. No gacha item is repeated so there is no worries about duplicate items. Find more info on how it all works and landmarks here. Now on to some previews!
I’m still trying to figure out my costume for Halloween so I picked up a few things to mix and match with. At The Little Bat, the Grand Prize is a set of Monochrome Leggings that have several different patterns for the top section to pick from. This set comes in an omega applier. Commons include other leggings variations and mesh nails fitted for Maitreya and Slink hands.
My top is from Squishy Fluff and is one of several of the Treat tops with words on it. It comes fitted for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Kemono, and Ruth2 mesh bodies. Collect all ten tops and get comfy for the house or out and about. Squishy Fluff also has trick prizes that include raisin dresses and Pumpkin Spice Lax.
To complete my look, I picked up a necklace from Astara. They have both good and bad witch crystal necklaces so play until you get one you prefer. Cubic Cherry made cute horns, eyes, and a mask for the grand prize. The horns seemed to match my look for this evening the most and nestle perfectly in my hair. Lastly, I couldn’t forget my Frankenbucket with candy and my gummy worm to keep me energized for partying all night long.

Summer is slowly winding down to its end. Our lazy warm days shorten bit by bit but still we dance and play as if it will never end. Couples wander, teasing and making mischief amongst the yellowing grasses. Kisses stolen by the campfire on a cool summer’s evening. Hazy days we’ve had. Soon over and dreamt of with whimsy during the cold winter days.
In hopes of holding onto summer’s fun a bit longer, the Cart Sale opened two days ago with many merchants offering lovely 10 linden summer goodies. I will be sharing some of what you can find in my next few posts.
My first look is a cute little dress from Mishmash Fusion that you can find in three colors. The Starseed Mini is a wonderfully flirty dress. Sizes included for each dress fit 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, Maitreya, and eBody mesh bodies. Grab this gem and tease your favorite eye candy as you bend over to pet some cute critters or fix a shoe. My friend followed me around and had picked up the Sleeveless Shirt from Dark Water Designs at the Cart Sale as well. Several colors are up for grabs, each one coming with models for Adam, Altamura, Signature, Slink, and ExMachina male mesh bodies.
Another cute outfit I found is from Sweet Willows. My second look has somewhat of a nautical flavor with its dark blue top and white and blue striped skirt. This outfit is only available for Maitreya mesh bodies but there are four colors to pick from and the fit is nice. It’s casual enough not to feel overdressed going out, but cute enough that you won’t feel plain on a day date. Anyone up for some sailing? For a bit of whimsy, I added the Bottled Fairy Earrings from the Dark Fae which are also at the Cart Sale in five different colors. Each color of fairy is safely contained in a small glass bottle entwined with a bit of wire to be suspended from your ear.
For the guys, you can find the Kimono Shirt from Dark Water Designs in four color options. This top has sizes for the male mesh bodies Adam, Jake, Signature, and Slink. While these are not traditional kimonos, they are comfy and casual enough for any guy just hanging out.
Looking for a nice setup in your yard to hangout while it’s still warm? =EC Designs= has you set! Check out their new Campfire Logs, Campfire, and the matching Campfire Stumps in the Campfire Set. The campfire logs come with four different versions of the pillows and cute sits for females, males, and couples. “Hey, wake up sleepyhead.” She nudges the snoring figure stretched out across a well padded lounge chair. A mumble from the dark haired man responds with a slight adjustment of his head resting on his arms as she continues to nudge his shoulders. Her hands begin softly rubbing over his shoulders, her quiet humming accompanied by distant bird calls.
After a few moments, his eyes flicker open as he stirs, waking up but pretending to slumber still as he listens to her hum a soft song. It was a rare treat to catch her humming, and he cherished every second. Suddenly, a finger jabbed into his back, making him jump up and grunt in surprise. “Ugggh… why you gotta wake me up like that, babe?” Shifting his body around, he sat up on the lounger, swiftly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against his chest, making her squeal and laugh as he playfully jabbed her back with his finger.
“You were already awake! I could tell when you stopped snoring.” She grinned up at him. As his arms move to hold her close, she reaches up to pull his head down for a soft kiss. His arms tighten around her for a moment, a smile on his lips as she pulls away, hand still holding his head.
Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, he chuckles, “Nothing gets past you, does it?”

The finishing touch for my beachy look today was a necklace made by Captivating! There are six cute beaded necklaces for sale that will have you dreaming of the tropics and getting sand in your toes. Any of these necklaces would look nice with a strapless dress or swimwear.
From =EC Designs=, I have a cute pergola setup that includes a lounger that is animated for singles and couples. Sit with your friend and hang out, or cuddle up with your partner to relax in the sun. There are even massages if you feel like pampering your partner a bit. The set is easy to just set out and poses are adjustable. Hey everyone! I am back again and sharing some finds from the Cart Sale. I know I’m a bit late but you MUST see some of the wonderful spring inspired releases available before it ends February 14th. Don’t waste any time and go check it out now!
Where do I begin? There’s so much goodness to find and all at a bargain price of 10L per item. I’ll start with what my friend is wearing. The sweet green dress from Mishmash Fusion comes in mesh sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus, eBody bodies and standard fitmesh for classic avatars. At the Cart Sale, you can find this cute dress in six colors in the blossom print and two in a hearts prints all for 10L each. She paired her dress with these darling shoes and socks from The Dark Fae in the solid version. Each of the five packs of shoes with socks and the five sets of socks come with a HUD with several color or print options. Sizes come fitted for all Belleza, both Slink, Maitreya, and Tonic feet. These shoes and the sock versions are super adorable and honestly a steal considering each one has its own hud with color options.
The second look is one I’m wearing in purple. I’m wearing a dress from K&A Design called Rhea and is available in three colors at the Cart Sale. This dress comes with all of the most popular mesh body sizes as well as standard mesh sizes and fitmesh sizes. I had no problems with fitting and the top part has just enough transparency for a little extra spice. My shoes are from Mishmash Fusion, made for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet and are available in three colors.
My second look shows an outfit from battle fairy that is available in several colors. These sets can be mix and matched if you buy more than one color or mix them with other tops or bottoms to your liking. I love the texturing on the top and skirt; the back details of the top give this outfit a nice surprise as you turn. Sizes included for this dress fit all three Belleza, both Slink, and Maitreya bodies. My final look for this post is a combo of a top from Dark Water Designs and a skirt from CroM. Dark Water Designs has two color versions of this fringed top for sale and they come with five standard mesh sizes as well as fitted models for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink eBody, Tonic, TMP, and Ocacin. You could pair this with some bikini bottoms and a sarong or shorts and be beach ready! From CroM, the skirt is a vibrant blue mini skirt that comes in standard mesh sizes and fitted models for Belleza, Slink, Maitreya, TMP, eBody, and Tonic bodies.
I have a lot of the furniture pieces from =EC Designs= packed into this post and it’s really a steal if you grabbed everything. 60L for a full furniture set is a bargain. This retro inspired set works great for small spaces and offers a lot of animation options in the couch, chairs, cabinet, and bookcase for singles and couples. Just want the couch and chairs or just the chairs? Each item comes in its own pack so you can pick what you want. The drawers and cupboard doors all open on the cabinet and bookcase so you can display or “store” items as you desire. All of the table options come in a single pack as well. Sanctuary. Peace. Tranquility. We all have different images that come to mind when we read or hear these words. For some they are tropical beaches with shady palm trees and clear blue water. Someone else might picture a vast forest of various species of trees, some changing with the colors of fall and birds quietly chirping overhead. Perhaps they are sitting indoors, blankets and a cat nestled around oneself, rain or snow falling outside the window.
I’ve found myself searching for peace and quiet lately. The desire for solitude ebbs and flows in me like the tide, changes like the seasons, and never really disappears. Clarity. When I hear this word I inevitably think of snowflakes and crystals. Wouldn’t a more accurate image be water or glass? Maybe. In any case, moments of solitude often bring a sense of clarity that is so rejuvenating and enlightening to me. When faced with a problem, only withdrawing from the world and into a book or taking pictures in Secondlife has ever given me true clarity and peace of mind.
For this picture, I decided to play in the snow with some sleds made from Dictatorshop. The bench sled has a combination of both PG and Adult animations set up for all combinations of genders and dominance styles. While the bench sled has the option of cuddles and a nice blanket, the standing sled (also OMNI with all four gender and dominance styles) which is sold separately is more like Dictatorshop’s bondage crosses. Also included with the standing sled is a snowball giver for some added playful winter games. Both sleds have an excellent selection of animations under all of its menus. If you don’t mind a bit of cold weather, these sleds give a new definition to a winter wonderland.

A little bit of a rant or musing to start things off today followed by a special giveaway to celebrate reaching 50 blog posts! Read on to find out about the giveaway!
Lately I have been reminiscing on some of the events of the past year or so. Remembering the people that have moved in and out of my life and the lessons I have taken from them. It is incredible what an influence some people have had in such a short time while other lessons came from mistakes or taking a wrong turn. My morning has been a bit quieter than usual as I remember those lessons.
I know my last few posts have been a bit more upbeat and summery cheerful, so this post probably seems a bit less peppy. As a human, I can only be cheerful for so long before another obstacle gets thrown in my path that tries to knock me down. But you know what? I will keep fighting for the happiness I know I deserve. Maybe I need a day or two to get back into gear, but I will never stop swinging my bat at each ball that tries to strike me out. So my adventure for today took me to a baseball field in Chicago where I practiced focusing on hitting each ball out of the park and refocusing my mind on what is important. What is that you ask? Well…Â Me.
Now that might sound selfish, but consider this. If you spread yourself too thin, trying to please everyone you come across, you can never be happy because you have no time for yourself and what makes you happy. This was something I’ve had to learn and really, I’m still working on it. My health and happiness are first and foremost before I can be expected to help others. I will always make time for those who are closest to me; yet I have reevaluated who those people are and adjusted my priorities accordingly to give myself the best chance of smiling every day. Life is too short. Spend it doing what you love and with the people you love.
So, you’re probably wondering by now if i will just get to the clothes I’m wearing. Don’t fret! Today I am wearing a fun T-shirt dress from Dark Water Designs that is currently at the Cart Sale in three colors and a couple solid knit versions. Included are five standard mesh sizes and fitted models for Belleza Isis & Venus, Slink Physique & Hourglass, Maitreya Lara, and TMP bodies. I really love how this dress fits and feels a bit sporty. The small clipping on the leg is really only visible because of the pose I used. Wear it to a game or at home while getting comfy on the couch.
