I Feel Your Whisper Across the Sea

“Hey, wake up sleepyhead.” She nudges the snoring figure stretched out across a well padded lounge chair. A mumble from the dark haired man responds with a slight adjustment of his head resting on his arms as she continues to nudge his shoulders. Her hands begin softly rubbing over his shoulders, her quiet humming accompanied by distant bird calls.

After a few moments, his eyes flicker open as he stirs, waking up but pretending to slumber still as he listens to her hum a soft song. It was a rare treat to catch her humming, and he cherished every second. Suddenly, a finger jabbed into his back, making him jump up and grunt in surprise. “Ugggh… why you gotta wake me up like that, babe?” Shifting his body around, he sat up on the lounger, swiftly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against his chest, making her squeal and laugh as he playfully jabbed her back with his finger.

“You were already awake! I could tell when you stopped snoring.” She grinned up at him. As his arms move to hold her close, she reaches up to pull his head down for a soft kiss. His arms tighten around her for a moment, a smile on his lips as she pulls away, hand still holding his head.

Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, he chuckles, “Nothing gets past you, does it?”

From =EC Designs=, I have a cute pergola setup that includes a lounger that is animated for singles and couples. Sit with your friend and hang out, or cuddle up with your partner to relax in the sun. Remember to Let Her Into Your Heart

Spring has sprung, showing her face here and there at last. With more sun, blooms peeking out, and birds chirping in the early hours again, there is a renewed sense of hope for brighter days ahead of us. Part of the season change, for me, is refreshing my look, cleaning out the old tired clothes, and finding new pieces that call to me. If I can find them on sale, even better! Today I am sharing some of the cute things for sale at the Cart Sale at the Wash that has been dubbed Sunny Side Up.

The dress that I’m wearing is from one of my favorite shops, Mishmash Fusion, and is called Imagine. Each color or pattern option comes with 8 different mesh models which are fitted for Slinks Physique and Hourglass, Bellezas Freya, Isis, and Venus; Maitreya Lara, eBody, and classic avatar standard fit bodies. The fit on my Maitreya Lara body is nice and the dress is sweet and cute. If you don’t want to show as much skin, you could wear some leggings underneath. For 10L, this dress is a bargain! I’ve paired this dress with a pair of cute heels in violet from the Dark Fae which are also at the Cart Sale. The Delicate Rose heels are available in 9 colors and fitted for Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya mesh high feet. While there is not a fatpack option, if you get every pair, that’s only 90L and a steal in my opinion. Wear these heels with a pair of jeans to be cute and casual or wear them with a dress like I did for a nice afternoon out.

Around me you will see various decor on the wall that is from Dark Knight Decor. These pieces are perfect for a kitchen, bathroom, office space, or workshop to add a touch of spring.  Little details on each piece add to their charm like the woodgrain on the plank or the shine on the seed jars.  Each of these pieces and more cute knick knacks and flower arrangements are up for grabs for 10L apiece at the Cart Sale.

My last item for this post is the shark which is from =EC Designs= and is one of two on sale for a limited time. After the Cart Sale, both will be put in a gacha at the =EC Design= mainstore with a bunch of other cute sharks. Each shark has a ton of single sits for females and males. Whether you are a parent, kid, or just like sharks, you don’t want to miss out on these amazing items! Toss a few of these out in a casual sitting area for a bunch of friends and just chill out or throw some out for your kids to have pirate battles with.

Trade Them for a Package of Sunshine and Flowers

Hey everyone! I am back again and sharing some finds from the Cart Sale. I know I’m a bit late but you MUST see some of the wonderful spring inspired releases available before it ends February 14th. Don’t waste any time and go check it out now!

Where do I begin? There’s so much goodness to find and all at a bargain price of 10L per item. I’ll start with what my friend is wearing. The sweet green dress from Mishmash Fusion comes in mesh sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus, eBody bodies and standard fitmesh for classic avatars. At the Cart Sale, you can find this cute dress in six colors in the blossom print and two in a hearts prints all for 10L each. She paired her dress with these darling shoes and socks from The Dark Fae in the solid version. Each of the five packs of shoes with socks and the five sets of socks come with a HUD with several color or print options. Sizes come fitted for all Belleza, both Slink, Maitreya, and Tonic feet. These shoes and the sock versions are super adorable and honestly a steal considering each one has its own hud with color options.

The second look is one I’m wearing in purple. I’m wearing a dress from K&A Design called Rhea and is available in three colors at the Cart Sale. This dress comes with all of the most popular mesh body sizes as well as standard mesh sizes and fitmesh sizes. I had no problems with fitting and the top part has just enough transparency for a little extra spice. My shoes are from Mishmash Fusion, made for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet and are available in three colors.

My second look shows an outfit from battle fairy that is available in several colors. These sets can be mix and matched if you buy more than one color or mix them with other tops or bottoms to your liking. I love the texturing on the top and skirt; the back details of the top give this outfit a nice surprise as you turn. Sizes included for this dress fit all three Belleza, both Slink, and Maitreya bodies. My final look for this post is a combo of a top from Dark Water Designs and a skirt from CroM. Dark Water Designs has two color versions of this fringed top for sale and they come with five standard mesh sizes as well as fitted models for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink eBody, Tonic, TMP, and Ocacin. You could pair this with some bikini bottoms and a sarong or shorts and be beach ready! From CroM, the skirt is a vibrant blue mini skirt that comes in standard mesh sizes and fitted models for Belleza, Slink, Maitreya, TMP, eBody, and Tonic bodies.

I have a lot of the furniture pieces from =EC Designs= packed into this post and it’s really a steal if you grabbed everything. 60L for a full furniture set is a bargain. This retro inspired set works great for small spaces and offers a lot of animation options in the couch, chairs, cabinet, and bookcase for singles and couples. Just want the couch and chairs or just the chairs? Each item comes in its own pack so you can pick what you want. The drawers and cupboard doors all open on the cabinet and bookcase so you can display or “store” items as you desire. All of the table options come in a single pack as well. I’ve added a few of the items from Dark Knight Decor to add a soft spring touch to the room. The wall frame, chicken vases, and trio of frames are each on sale for 10L. The Smell of Your Skin Lingers

Hey everyone! You have one day left to get to the Cart Sale so take advantage of the sale while you still can! Today I am bringing you a lot more peeks into what you will find at the Cart Sale.

As I was thinking about what I wanted to show you guys, I kind of just hung around my bedroom and lazed about in my new shorts and tank top. I’m still sort of decorating my house so I was wanting comfy casual attire. The shorts you see here are from !The Little Bat and come with a HUD with fun color selections. Sizes included are standard mesh sizing and fitted models for Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza. My tank top from Vicarious Youth fits only Maitreya. I’m a kitty girl so I had to have it.

My second look comes from Anachron. This cute dress is at the Cart Sale in a variety of colors, some that are perfect for Easter. It comes in standard mesh sizing and models for Maitreya, Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, and Belleza bodies. Pair it with some cute sandals and a hat and you are set for Sunday brunch!

My third look is a lovely floral dress from Dark Water Designs. It only comes in standard mesh sizes but it still fit my Maitreya body well. If you aren’t a big fan of floral patterns, the dress also comes in a striped version. Either one is wonderful for new spring attire.

My last look is from :{MV}: and I have been strutting my stuff in this dress all day! Sizes included are for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Isis, Venus, and Freya; and a standard fit option. There are seven gorgeous colors to choose from and really at this price, it’s a bargain to grab them all for 110L. Each is 10L with the black being the special 50L item. My friend and sl daughter loved the dress too and is the one posing with me. To pair with the detailing on the neckline, I applied some nail polish from La Boheme that was also at the Cart Sale. These nails have omega appliers and one for Maitreya.

The bed that I am sitting on in my picture is The Sophisticate Bed from Dictatorshop. It is not the newest item but I really loved the look of it and the bedsheets I found were so lovely. If you’re looking for a bed that with great animations for all around use, this is a wonderful option. Individuals have plenty of poses to pick from for both genders. There are cuddles for when you just want to relax with that special someone, and then as usual the wide selection of adult animations that Dictatorshop always has. For more options in bed covers, check out the other huds available in the shop; for the goth lovers there’s even Halloween themed bedsheets. Be sure to get the right Hud for the correct bed and have fun matching your house decor! 🙂

All the other decor in the pictures are from the Cart Sale. I love the watercolors and sketches from Dark Knight Designs. Something about them scattered about the room makes it feel extra artsy. The teapot with the fern fits in well with the bedsheets I chose too. The sturdy table is from Wood Works Furniture and is nice for filling in empty corners to hold up some of your knick knacks. I also liked the little pouffe seats from The Artist Shed for a little spot to sit and look out the window. Each pouffe has a different pose and texture inspired by spring weather. My final touches to my room was to hang a fishing pole from Dixie Dandelion with little frames on the wall and to texture the empty wall with an accent pattern from Timeless Textures. Each frame has a little cheerful saying and image to brighten your mood. On the wall, the knit texture I chose looks more glittery because of the scale. It’s a beautiful texture!

She’s Real Fine… My 409

Hi again everyone! I hope your week is going well and that you’ve had time to check out the Cart Sale. If not, I will be sharing another awesome bargain you can find there. Please note, one item in this blog does have adult poses when in use.

Summer is coming up and I decided I wanted to try out some new bikinis so I am prepared for sunbathing. Of course, going for a drive with the top down is always nice too. A friend of mine let me use some his tools to make sure my car was running properly and I just had to check out the engine. Luckily for me, I had an engine crane ready because the engine needed some work. After taking a look under the hood, a few tweaks here and there, I’m ready for some racing!

Today I am wearing one of the bikinis from Mishmash Fusion that are at the Cart Sale. After one look I knew I had to have it because well, you can see how cute I look right? These swim suits hark back to the ’50s with their vintage pinup girl flare. Everything is covered up well so it’s perfect for a family day on the beach or going to the pool. The fit is nice and the bikinis are made for Maitreya, Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, and five standard mesh sizes. So I’m Gonna Love You Now

April is here and I am enjoying seeing flowers beginning to crop up from the ground. The showers will pour as they inevitably do, but with the rain comes new life and I’m finding I need that reminder as of late. A lot has been on my mind so I’ve been taking time to de-stress and just recharge. So I decided to take a little stroll and found a spot to relax, cuddle up with someone, and just pass the time.

This cozy spot I found is in a little gazebo made by =EC Designs=. It is for the Cart Sale at the Wash in birch and walnut for only 10L. Along with the gazebo, you get a bench, a little fountain pitcher, and a tree stump with cuddles. Not only is the set the perfect focal point for any garden, it has a multitude of single and couple animations in the bench, cuddle stump, AND the gazebo itself. My look today has a couple pieces from Luxe Box and Bishbox which are subscription boxes in secondlife. My lovely top is from Tee*fy (Lara and both Slink sizes) and my shoes are from Empire (Lara, both Slink, 3 Belleza, and TMP sizes), both in March’s Luxe Box. Both items fit well and have lovely texture options on their HUDs. On my ears you’ll find gorgeous earrings by Empyrean Forge. These come with a hud that lets you change the metal color. My hair is from Doe; I adore this hair because I love Doe’s gingers and her textures are so well done. Two sizes are included with one that is designed with larger breasts in mind. All color pack huds come in this set and you are able to change the hat color from a sizable array of options. Both earrings and hair are from March’s Bishbox. Finally, my smexy pants are Blueberry’s latest pants release. Gracie comes in a wide selection of denim and leather options for Maitreya, Slink Physique & Hourglass, all three Belleza, and TMP mesh body sizes. The fatpack has exclusive metallic colors. What is really special about these pants is that you get the option of just the pant or a version with a cute boot attached with beautiful beadwork on the heel. Metals and beads can be changed via the included HUDs. As many of us know, Blueberry makes our butts look fabulous.

Take Me to Dictatorshop

Hello readers! I hope this post finds you in good spirits and sun-kissed. I’ve been working out in my garden a bit and setting out some new toys I’ve recently discovered. Now, as I was saying. I was working out in the garden, setting up this new trellis from Dictatorshop when my hubby logs on and spies my short skirt. *facepalms* He promptly scooped me up like I was some prized booty..er treasure. Well.. One thing led to another and I was more than happy to oblige. Spring fever is running high and Dictatorshop’s new trellis just adds to the fun. So what can this fine piece of wood, I mean trellis, do?

As you can see, there’s some nice decorative roses and grass with cuddles and kisses. The pose my husband has me in the picture is in the lift menu named GotYou. The grass and roses are safe to leave out at all times, but if you’re feeling the heat picking up, click the small Dictatorshop logo on the bottom of one of the back posts. This accesses the naughty menus with Femdom and Maledom adult poses. Once a menu is chosen, a Trapmat rezzes in place of the cuddle grass. There are RLV capabilities in the trellis but the menus work great for people who don’t use RLV too. I can personally guarantee this because I do not use RLV at all. Once both partners sit and choose their appropriate role, the fun times begin with plenty of pose options. Dominants have control of the menu and can access the GiveProps button for any extra toys athat may be needed.

What makes this piece great is that it looks perfect in the yard and functions well for both PG and adult use. Security of the menu can be set to owner only, which keeps any random wanderers from messing with the trellis. While the grass and roses are safe to leave out, you can clear them to save on prims as well. You can also change the texture of the trellis with the included HUD to match your house or other garden décor.

From the House that Built Me: More from the Cart Sale

Easter has recently passed and I can’t help thinking about all the ways we are shaped by the cultures we are raised in. Different parts of the world celebrate the same holiday in different ways and this changes how we express ourselves in what we wear, how we act, and more. In this post, I’m sharing different looks that appeal to varying tastes because they draw influences from different walks of life.

For my first look, my dress from Dark Water Designs is inspired by floras found in the eastern hemisphere. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes and includes a HUD with four Asian floral designs. If you wear a mesh body and are a tad bustier, expect to wear the larger size. My wedges are also from Dark Water Designs and while the floral patterns on the HUD don’t quite match the dress pattern I’m wearing, they still look fun and cute together. Not a fan of floral? There’s a pair of Vintage Grunge Wedges set for sale at the Cart Sale too. Find these lovely pieces and more for 10L while you can.

In my second look, I’m wearing one of Anachron’s pieces from the Cart Sale. This beautiful chiton comes in a multitude of colors in standard mesh sizes. I did mod my shape to have smaller breasts to fit size M but the large would have worked as well. I really love how nicely this piece drapes over the body and the textures are beautiful. You’ll feel like a Greek princess or goddess in it.

For teatime with the girls, I went with a little dress from Lilbit Sass and a hat from NSP. The dress comes in standard mesh sizes, busty sizes, fitted mesh sizes, and fitted mesh sizes for the Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink bodies. Not seen is the gorgeous strap design on the back. I had no issues with fit at all. The hat has an easy to use resize script which allows you to fit this lovely hat to any head and accommodate hair as well. Together these pieces give me an Audrey Hepburn vibe or some other high- fashion lady without feeling over-glamorous.

My last look is mostly just for fun. Rowena’s Designs has a cute dress and matching heels out for sale. The included HUD has a nice basic color selection to suit any girl’s mood. This dress has standard sizes, fitted sizes, and meshes for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink mesh bodies too. If you’re headed to the club, you might find some fun tip jars like this Peeps Tipjar from Xtreme Designs. They have quite a few Easter or spring themed tip jars for sale at the Cart Sale. These peeps look so yummy I had a hard time not taking a bite of them! 😀 The background and floor textures in this photo are from Timeless Textures which has a nice selection of full perm textures up for grabs. I’m not normally someone who likes pink but the plaid was so cute I couldn’t resist.

Born to Be Wild at the Cart Sale

With the onset of spring rolling around, there’s lots of bright and happy dresses being pulled out of the closets and great sales going on. One of my favorite sales events is The Cart Sale @The Wash which offers all items for 10 lindens with the option of one item being 50L. Right now Spring Freshness is the theme of this round’s Cart Sale and there certainly is a lot of spring fever going on. I, for one, loved exploring the grittier side of the theme, which led me to get back onto my bike for a little ride around a new roleplay sim called Dark Edinburgh. Details on that in a bit.

Roped Passion is offering a wonderful selection of one sleeve tops and pants sets for 10L. The outfit I’m wearing is the 50L version that comes with matching heels for Slink and Maitreya feet. The outfit itself comes in many different mesh versions so you can find the best fit. Each color comes with standard mesh sizes as well as fitted meshes for Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza bodies. I had no issues with fit and feel really sassy in it. Small detailing over the pants and top add a bit of sparkle without making it too girly. Biker and rocker girls will love this outfit. NOTE: Shoes are only included with the 50L version.

Another designer that took a different perspective on spring was Drusilla Dethly of !The Little Bat. You won’t find any flowers on her new dress or bow. No, you’ll find bats. Bats cover the cute short skirt and one takes center stage on the cameo bow. Both are only 10L at the Cart Sale. For shoes, I decided to pair the dress and bow with my new Mary Jane pumps from The Dark Fae. I really do adore these shoes because they are not super girly…or rather too nice girly.  The bow is cute, but the spikes and little skully on the heel add the perfect touch of goth to keep things fun and quirky.

Lastly, my nails are from [:Rad Designz:]. At the Cart Sale, there are 5 different styles of nails and each style has 6 variations. I’m wearing the Beaded Hearts on my Slink Casual Hands. All nail appliers come on one hud for easy application for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink hands. Bonus, the nails are also omega compatible. Buy each style for just 10L and have fun with your new sparkly fingers.

Lastly, I wanted to share this new roleplay sim that opened up not too long ago. It’s called Dark Edinburgh and it’s based on the Vampires of Masquerade roleplay from real life. Characters can be vampire, werewolf, mages (witch/wizard), or human. The roleplay is set in modern day Edinburgh and looks pretty cool. A Bright Sunshiny Day Part 2

I really do love the bursts of sunshine I’ve been seeing lately. A little bit of sunlight is an instant mood boost that brings out the inner kid in everyone and just..well..makes everything seem not so depressing. So, in the spirit of spring sunshine and fun, I’m sharing a couple other looks and a cool carousal from Fi’s Hunts’ The Chicken Egg Hunt which runs until the end of March. Details and links are below the blog credits.

First I’m sharing this darling little dress I got from ~*Moolala*~. It makes me think of Easter Sunday brunches or tea time with friends. While there are not fitted meshes for mesh bodies or fitted mesh, I was still able to use the standard mesh sizes on my Maitreya body without any trouble. I’m not usually a fan of pink, but this dress is just too fun to pass up.

My other outfit is a mix from two other hunt gifts. On top, I’m wearing the shirt from Country Couture’s complete outfit. The outfit includes rigged mesh, fit mesh, and fitted meshes for Maitreya, Belleza, and the Slink bodies for the shirt and jeans and a pair of boots. Seen here is only the top from the outfit. A cute chick printed on the top makes for a fun casual top for any day. The pants are the gift from {D.o.R.K} and come with a HUD that has 8 different texture options. Blue and pink are the base texture options; the variation is in the eggs all over the pants in different patterns. This was a very fun and playful design, so good job {D.o.R.K}!

Lastly, the egg/chicken/hay thing I’m sitting on in various pictures are from =EC Designs=’s Carousal. This ingenious design harks back to that age old question: Which came first? The Chicken or the Egg? We may never know but you can certainly have fun going in circles while you ponder this question. Sit on a chicken or in an egg or in the hay on the carousal’s center and cuddle with someone. All animations are PG appropriate and cuddles are just sweet and tender. ❤
