I’d Howl at Your Beauty Like a Dog in Heat

Lately life has taken me on some twists and turns, some good and some quite painful. Opportunities presented themselves. I took the plunge. Did I land on my feet? Yes. And no.

I could spin a tale about finding love…then losing it. I could write about the heartache and sadness, the pain and emptiness. But you’ve felt it, feel it, know the taste of it in your mouth and the hollowness in your chest where a strange ache never truly dies.

Gradually the pain fades when you’re not paying attention; you hardly notice because you’re so busy trying to distract yourself from the pain. How long has it been since you could breathe freely? When did your smile stop feeling forced? Brief moments of reprieve are then cut short when you remember the pain; it all comes flooding back again. Did it hurt this bad the first time? Is it maybe a little less? How do you know when you’ve healed?

I’ve been reflecting on some of the people that have come into my life recently, how I’ve spent my time with them, my words, my actions and what they’ve said and done. Recent pain has forced me to take a step back to look at what paths lay before me. Should I take the path over here that most would object to? Or do I take the route more often traveled? Do I dare tread on the one my heart is drawn to? Mistakes and lessons lie behind me but I stand at a crossroads again, not ready to make a choice just yet. Not ready to take another step until my feet are planted more firmly on the ground.

For now I work on grounding myself again, building the foundation of my soul until it can withstand any storm. One day I will be myself again. In time I’ll forget the sting. Someday I’ll smile, blow a kiss, and be on my way, flowing like water onto the next path of my journey.

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Life tends to take hold just as I get my groove back. Today I am sharing a piece from February that Dictatorshop released that I was in love with from first glance. I honestly think every woman ought to have a tantra chair in her home. The curving slope is so sensual and elegant and to me it just seems perfect for lounging. Many of the single sits are perfect for staging a surprise for your significant other too. Some Kind of Madness is Swallowing Me Whole

I apologize for my absence! A combination of real life and a bit of a down mood has kept me from posting this when I originally received the items that are featured today. Read on for what’s been floating through my mind.

We all know that there are many things that drive us crazy. Rude customers or co-workers at work. Too slow drivers or traffic on our daily commutes. Finding presents left by the dog or cat for the 100th time on the carpet. Even something simple as the sound some people make when eating can set a person’s teeth on edge. But there are very few things, in my opinion at least, that can drive us to true madness. One of those things… is love.

For very few people, the search seems easy, almost like an arrow just pointing them in the right direction. But for most people, the search is rough, almost brutal at times. We look for signs to say, “Hey, turn here, open this door” or “Turn back now, wrong turn” to show us where we are supposed to be headed and with who. And if that wasn’t enough, our search can be for many different types of love. Even if we prefer to be alone, most of us seek companionship of some kind whether with family, friendship, a lover or a pet. The search for love, that special kind of love that comes from another person we want to spend the rest of our lives with…that love can bring us to a madness like no other.

I may be a bit of a hopeless romantic. I know it’s in everything I do, everything I say. As I’ve embarked on my quest for love, I’ve hit a few potholes, skinned my knees a few times, and leaped off a cliff without really being sure of what was at the bottom of the water. Love truly can be blind and that is usually what causes most of the hardship we end up experiencing when things go wrong. As Sigmund Freud said, “We are never so defenseless against suffering as when we love.” First love is always so innocent…nothing quite like it and the heartbreak we face when we realize the other person is not 100% perfect and not a good fit feels earth shattering for some.

Well… Freud also said, “One day, in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful.” Although we lament all the hardship our hearts endure, they are strong and able to go through a lot of rough handling. It sucks, but eventually you get better at finding the right turns and all that hard work is worth it; the pain of the past lingers but not so strongly that you’re unable to find happiness again…

My main point? It’s a lot of what I’ve been talking about already. Don’t give up. Keep trudging along the rough paths, scraping your knees, and taking a tumble or two; just remember to pick yourself up and continue to move forward. Find your love whether that is a person, a cat or dog, or a group of friends who have your back. Don’t let madness swallow you.

Today I am sharing the Chesterfield Sofa, Chair and Stool. Both were at the Home Show 2017 but due to my mood and RL I was late to blog them. They are now at the mainstore and on Marketplace along with matching Bondage Benches. Personally, I love this set even more than the Contempo set that I have blogged about earlier this year. I think this is probably due to the detailing of the back cushions. Nonetheless, this set brings you all of your favorite smooth poses in the adult versions of each piece or the PG versions you can purchase if you don’t want the racy aspects.

Animations included in these pieces are as usual, superbly smooth and plentiful. Both leather and metals can be changed via the logo on the back of each piece and you can change the security of the menus as well. Poses are easy to adjust and swap for all your naughty needs.
