Light is slowly fading, ebbing away like the tide, leaving a wordless melancholy. Seasons changing, shifting, urging me to slumber and rest with the setting sun. I close my eyes on the light. When they open I hope and pray for autumn’s quiet yet passionate colors to unfold.

Are the shadows growing? Are my eyes tricking me? Something has changed. Was it me? A quiet calm approaches and beckons me into its embrace. Who calls to me now with such familiarity?

Every parting is bittersweet. My old friend, I feel you near once more. Come closer and leave the kiss I truly long for.

Girl, Put Your Records On, Tell Me Your Favorite Song

Hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy in these crazy times. I know I’m slowly starting to go a bit more insane… With all of the time at home, you’d think we would be more productive with projects we’ve left unfinished for a while, but alas, we’re just trying to cope in these strange circumstances. One of the best ways to do so is to listen to some good music. What’s your favorite band, genre, song? Whatever makes you relax or feel upbeat, turn it up and dance around in your room or while you make some food.

Another good way to have some fun is shopping! I know some are struggling to save money while they are out of work, but there are some great deals in SecondLife that won’t break your bank. The Cart Sale at the Wash has begun and is chock full of items that are 50L or less. Some of what I am currently wearing is from the Cart Sale. My dress was created by Sweet Willows and there are seven different color/pattern options to pick from and only costs 10L. Every single color/pattern comes in mesh sizes fitted for Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique and Hourglass, and the Belleza Freya bodies. My hat is from Tiar, and while it is called Mens hat, I found it gives a fun twist to my look. It is modifiable to make sure you have the purrfect fit.

I will have more for again but don’t delay and grab these bargains before the event ends on April 15th.

Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls

Hey peeps! Linden Labs has made it so the SL Home and Garden Expo has a few more days! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out on a great way to contribute to Relay For Life. As I stated in my previous post, there are creators with items up for grabs that contribute either 100% sale donations or 50% sale donations to RFL. In addition there is an auction and many creators have decorated homes to compete for the most donations to RFL. One of the homes I visited is on the water and named the Beach Cabin. House No. 11 is a cozy little home with a small living area, spacious foyer and bedroom upstairs, and an outdoor kitchen and dining area perfect for enjoying a view of the water. The dock also offers easy access to moor a boat. Come take a look at the wonderful work Alec Rogue has done on his build and donate some linden if you can to his donation kiosk. Every linden donated is a vote for their home and 100% go to RFL!

You Charge Me Up Like Electricity

When we think of the future, our minds often picture flying cars, holograms, hover boards, and traveling to other planets. Some of our more creative thoughts bring to mind light sabers, aliens, healing chambers, and robots with AI so believable they could be mistaken for a human. Science fiction literature, video games, TV shows, and film bring these visions to life in ways that are awe inspiring. If you’re a lover of the genre, the Sci-fi Con is for you and is only open for a couple more days. I am sharing a few pieces that =EC Designs= and Mishmash Fusion have at the RFL event.

Mishmash Fusion has new dresses for Sci-fi Con that will have you ready to go clubbing or feeling like a galactic princess. The dress I’m wearing is called Nyota and it is the Purple Pulsar color. Without advanced lighting on, it is a nice black dress. Turn on advanced lighting and you get a sexy electrifying number that will hypnotize any onlookers. Sizes included for this dress fit Altamura Sofia, eBody Classic and Curvy, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus; Slink Physique and Hourglass, and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. Don’t worry, a gift for guys is included as well! The Elation Gown in Infected is a fun color changing gown that slowly shifts and moves at the same time. If you are looking for some furniture for your space station, =EC Designs= has just what you need. The Group Seating set in Hex is perfect for the tech fans with its neon lighting around the edges. You’ll find a sectional couch that seats three people and the stool will seat one person. Other seating included are loveseats with and without cushions and a corner chair. Each seat comes equipped with animations for both female and male avatars no matter where you sit. Loveseats and the Sectional sofa have PG couples animations. And All I Can Taste is This Moment

Fantasy Faire recently opened and as always, each sim showcases such spectacular and jaw-dropping creativity by both the sim builders and merchants who participate in this special Relay for Life charity event. Each themed sim is sponsored and lovingly designed by different SecondLife creators with care and attention to detail. If you have never been to Fantasy Faire before, you are missing out on artistry and talent. Today I will be sharing a couple items from =EC Designs= and Mishmash Fusion that are being sold with 100% of sales being donated to Relay for Life in this event.

Mishmash Fusion has created several outfits in many colors that are all set as 100% donation items at Fantasy Faire. A few of these colors are exclusive to the event. Today I am wearing Rena’s Outfit in Fantasy, which is the event exclusive color. Rena’s Outfit is a smexy leafy look for all of the faery looking for something light and airy. It Won’t Be Long ’till Happiness Steps Up to Greet Me

As spring finally takes hold, I have more bargains for you to see  that you can grab at the Cart Sale. The event officially ends April 10th, though some merchants may keep their booths open a few days longer. Check it out before it’s too late!

Today I am sharing more from =EC Designs=. In my last post I shared their adorable Spring Tea Set; they also have several other items up for sale that would look lovely in your garden. Pictured here are the matching Spring Chair, Spring Table, and Spring Bench which are all sold separately so you can choose which pieces you want. There is also an arch and a bridge that match these pieces to make a full set. Both the Spring Chair and Spring Bench have single sits for males and females; only the bench has PG couples animations. I found other pieces as well for my garden at the Cart Sale. The Morocan Candle & Ivy Lamp from StoraxTree adds a nice soft glow for a quiet evening outside and the Home Store has many cute things, one of which is the pond formed by gray stones. Pick these up to add to your landscaping collection.

For my new spring wardrobe, I picked up another dress, this time from battle fairy. The lydia set comes in six different patterns for you to choose from. Each set includes fitted sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus; Slink Physique and Hourglass, and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. Each dress also comes with matching shoes for Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya feet. A word of caution though, the dresses are very short so you may want to wear some panties underneath it. My second outfit contains two other items from the Cart Sale. Sweet Willows has a very cute tube top that has a butterfly over the front in four different colors fitted for the Maitreya Lara body. My shoes are from Ciara’s Boutique and come with resize scripts so they should fit all types of SL feet which come in the 50L shoe fatpack. In this fatpack you’ll find several patterns of sneakers and heels that match the other clothing items Ciara’s Boutique is offering for sale.

When Streams Are Ripe and Swelled with Rain

Hello again! I know it’s been a little longer than I expected since my last post but real life decided to bless me with a spring cold. I am doing better now and have some cute finds from the Cart Sale for you to see. A quick note; the Cart Sale now allows merchants to sell six items for 10 lindens, six items for 25 lindens, and one item for 50 lindens. Now on to the goodies!

One of the first goodies I’ve found at the Cart Sale was a very cute dress from Mishmash Fusion. The Someday Minidress comes in a selection of six colors, each for 25 lindens. Sizes included fit Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Isis, Freya, and Venus, and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. This cute dress has a lovely lace skirt overlay and small suspenders straps that add just a touch of quirk. If you look closely, I am wearing a tattoo with ravens by Innerjoy Love Tattoo. There are many beautiful and colorful tattoos for sale but I love ravens of the Worthy Life tattoo in black ink which comes in Maitreya and omega appliers and includes standard tattoo layers.

If you’re looking to add some spring joy to your home and garden, you will find a nice selection of flowers and other decorations at the Cart Sale. In front of the windows I’ve placed some climbing roses from the Home Store. With the scent of roses in the air, the promise of new life creates a warm atmosphere. A small jug from Dark Knight Décor makes a nice vase for freshly cut flowers as a centerpiece on my new table. Dark Knight Décor also made my breakfast tray which has yummy coffee and bagels fresh from the kitchen. If coffee is not your beverage of choice, you might try =EC Designs= lovely little Spring Tea Set with their acorn teapot and tea cups. You can find the table at the SL Home & Garden Expo along with a decorative shelf that is also up for sale from Dictatorshop. On the floor I’ve spread some candles and flowers I found from LpOca. Along with these flowers, LpOca has many other flower arrangements including a window planter and some pitchers used as vases. Lastly, I picked up a cute chair from Kitty Creations that has a lovely velvet softness to it. You can change the texture between three colors and the chair fits nicely in small corners for both single sitters or a couple of avatars.

Yeah We Maxed Our Credit Cards and Got Kicked Out of the Bar

Hello lovely people! I am back again with a few more looks with goodies to be found at the Cart Sale. If you still have enough energy for some great 10 linden deals, you won’t want to miss out on these.

My first look is both casual and flirty. Perfect for a day downtown or at the club. The Ava Outfit from Kuid has a floral pattern that reminds me of the vibrant looks from various latin countries. This look comes with the top, skirt, and a crotch cover for modesty’s sake. Sizes included are fitted for the Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus mesh bodies. My second look is from Jellyroll. Multiple colors of this lovely gown are available and there is even a winter inspired gown. There is some clipping on the straps in the back on the Maitreya fitted size but the rest of the gown fits nicely. Other sizes included fit TMP, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus mesh bodies. Wear this dress out on the beach or dress it up for a formal gathering.

Lastly, Dream Factory has some sexy outfits up for grabs. My dress Babet is smooth and sexy with perfect teasing fit around my curves. Sizes included for this great piece are for Maitreya, eBody, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus mesh bodies. I am also wearing a tattoo in all three of my pictures from Innerjoy Love Designs called Lace Luv that covers the back, shoulders, upper chest, and other regions on the body. Seasons Change With the Scenery, Weaving Time in a Tapestry

Greetings beautiful people, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted and a lot has changed for me in a short time as it always does. I’m here this time to share some goodies you can find to help make your home festive and cozy for the holiday season. Cart Sale opened a few days ago with lots of bargains and Dictatorshop has new items up for grabs as well. If you’re unfamiliar with the Cart Sale, it’s held at the Wash and features items on sale for 10 lindens and merchants are allowed to sell one item for 50 lindens. The current round is Winter Wonderland themed and there’s some great wintery attire to find like the jammies from Sweet Willows. I found the Jester set fun but there are some other sets available that are more holiday themed if you prefer. Each jammie set comes in sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique, and Slink Hourglass mesh bodies. The fit is really nice and makes the bum look great! There are some new releases from Dictatorshop that I have out, the first of which is the Chesterfield Coffee Table from Dictatorshop. Two versions are available, PG or Adult Vanilla, which allows you to pick what you need to complete your living room set. In the Adult Vanilla version, there are singles poses for both female and males as well as couples poses that will make your toes curl. By clicking the logo, you can change the wood textures and metal textures. Dictatorshop also has a new fireplace in the main store that comes with a bondage version and a decor only version. Textures are customizable and you can choose from a selection of art photos to display or add your own. The Chateau Bondage Fireplace has poses that work for one submissive or two and is a good option for people who enjoy objectification play. For both the table and fireplace, please note that I have slightly tinted them darker to match my cabin a little better.

To add some festive charm to the room, I have a couple things from KK Home that are at the Cart Sale. The Hunter Log Rack goes well with any fireplace and will help you stay warm inside while the weather gets cold. I also grabbed the Nutcracker to place on the mantle because it reminds me of the ones I own in real life.

Lastly, Dark Knight Decor has some great pieces at the Cart Sale that are festive and a little quirky. Two Shadowboxes are up for grabs. I grabbed the blue version and hung it up on my wall for a little winter sparkle.

Ooh, the Beauty is There But a Beast is in the Heart

Although Halloween is over, I’m still feeling a little witchy. I decided to play with a bit of magic and organize some of my potion jars in the attic. I was aiming for something dark but…I think I used a little too many flower petals so if you see some luminescent butterflies, don’t be alarmed. You may start dancing and singing random songs, but there should be no lasting effects. Curious about the items in my hideaway? Only one more day of Secondlife Syndicate’s Trick or Treat event. If you are looking for a nice storage option, [noctis] has a beautiful shelf that has room for all the potion jars you collect. This shelf is the grand prize if you get the VIP Hud and collect all the pieces from [noctis].  Only like the jars? They make cute year round accent pieces for any corner of the house.

Nearby, you will find I have my grimoire set out. The Half Moon Market has created pieces that every witch needs, the grimoire being the most important in my opinion. It’s small yet detailed in its design. Other items include pumpkins, an athame, and potion bottles.

The last items from Trick or Treat I am sharing in this post are things I’m wearing. On my face are little tear drop tattoos. Unicult has several tattoos that come in Catwa and Omega appliers with multiple color options per tattoo. Collect them all and you’ll have something that goes with any outfit.

Lastly, Dark Passions has created super fun Halloween themed nail appliers for this event. These nails come in appliers for Slink, Maitreya, and Omega appliers. There are nine different sets to collect, and the grand prize if you have the VIP Hud. I personally would wear these year round and they make a great addition to any goth or edgy look.
