Night draws closer as I wander amongst the shadows of the room. A soft hum of anticipation buzzing under your skin. Tingles, hair standing up on the back of your neck, pulse beating hard and fast. Fear keeps you frozen in place as I drift near; your breath catches in excitement as I inhale your scent. With an exhale, my cigarette’s smoke mists across your face. You fight a cough. I arch a brow.
With a lazy heeled turn, I make my way back to the smooth wood desk piled high with manuscripts with hidden secrets you yearn to glean. Perhaps one day you’ll learn them. Perhaps one day you’ll pass them along to your children.
With a predatory smile from my lips as I lounge back in my leather chair, cigarette holder held aloft, you gulp and think to yourself that perhaps you may never see another night again.

Quiet. Silence. Deafening stillness fills my room without your presence. My mind spins a mile a minute, then slows like grass in a gentle breeze. How do I do this again? Being on my own without another voice overpowering mine?
Comfort. Normal. Your presence was constant but what about your mind? Always elsewhere. Together but alone. Now I’m alone but no longer lonely. Finding myself again, remembering who I am and where I want to go.
Quiet. Silence. Filling the emptiness with songs of my heart. Searching for new passions to re-ignite my flames. You may see me, but you won’t recognize the woman I’m becoming. Whispering, you’ll wonder how I became what I am. Who I am.
The Cart Sale has been running for about two weeks now and we have about one week left! If you’ve missed previous posts, the Cart Sale is a shopping event where all items are 50L or less. Today I am giving you more peeks at what you can find there. Be sure to check the event out before it ends on April 15th.
One of the items I am wearing comes from Dark Water Designs. The Crochet Overlay Top is a cute form-fitting top and has a HUD included with a few color options. Sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique and Hourglass, and Belleza Freya, Venus, and Isis mesh bodies are included. Next to me on the bed are a few items from Dark Knight Decor; the tea kettle and macaroons come in separate sets but go well together for a sweet afternoon treat. The lantern next to me is from The Dark Fae. Turn this cute piece on and light up your room with a bit of whimsy that comes in quite a few colors to pick from. Behind the lantern, you’ll see a vase of tulips and a planter of roses that both come from StoraxTree. Each has a selection of colors so you can find just the right one for any room or garden theme.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy in these crazy times. I know I’m slowly starting to go a bit more insane… With all of the time at home, you’d think we would be more productive with projects we’ve left unfinished for a while, but alas, we’re just trying to cope in these strange circumstances. One of the best ways to do so is to listen to some good music. What’s your favorite band, genre, song? Whatever makes you relax or feel upbeat, turn it up and dance around in your room or while you make some food.
Another good way to have some fun is shopping! I know some are struggling to save money while they are out of work, but there are some great deals in SecondLife that won’t break your bank. The Cart Sale at the Wash has begun and is chock full of items that are 50L or less. Some of what I am currently wearing is from the Cart Sale. My dress was created by Sweet Willows and there are seven different color/pattern options to pick from and only costs 10L. Every single color/pattern comes in mesh sizes fitted for Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique and Hourglass, and the Belleza Freya bodies. My hat is from Tiar, and while it is called Mens hat, I found it gives a fun twist to my look. It is modifiable to make sure you have the purrfect fit.
I will have more for again but don’t delay and grab these bargains before the event ends on April 15th.

Hey peeps! Linden Labs has made it so the SL Home and Garden Expo has a few more days! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out on a great way to contribute to Relay For Life. As I stated in my previous post, there are creators with items up for grabs that contribute either 100% sale donations or 50% sale donations to RFL. In addition there is an auction and many creators have decorated homes to compete for the most donations to RFL. One of the homes I visited is on the water and named the Beach Cabin. House No. 11 is a cozy little home with a small living area, spacious foyer and bedroom upstairs, and an outdoor kitchen and dining area perfect for enjoying a view of the water. The dock also offers easy access to moor a boat. Come take a look at the wonderful work Alec Rogue has done on his build and donate some linden if you can to his donation kiosk. Every linden donated is a vote for their home and 100% go to RFL!

Hi everyone! Today I have a lot to show you. So many pictures I can’t wait to share! As I noted in my last post, I am back to blogging for the Cart Sale located on the Wash sim. The current round runs from December 14, 2016 to January 4, 2017. What is so awesome about this event? Each item is only 10 linden and for this round, quite a few vendors have transferrable items. So, if you are looking for Christmas gifts and are on a budget, take a look around! Link to the sim will be below along with all other links. Hang on folks, this is going to be a long post, but you’re sure to find something you’ll love!
First up on my list is the Holiday Corset Dress from Dark Water Designs. This snug corset dress is perfect for the semi-formal and casual Christmas get togethers or event just a nice dinner out. At the Cart Sale, you have the option of three different colors for this dress and then the option of a pack with standard meshes and fitted mesh OR a pack with fitted mesh sizes for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza. This dress would be perfect for a gift for a girlfriend, sister, aunt, any female friends! I paired this dress with The Little bat’s Ribbon Choker in silver to bring a bit of playful holiday spirit in to my look. Several colors are included in the pack, so there is sure to be one to match any outfit. Both my hair and boots are from subscription boxes I joined for December. The boots are from EMPIRE for Luxe Box and the hair is from Doe for Bishbox.
My second look includes the gown Mishmash Fusion has up for sale. Standard mesh sizes are included along with sizes for Matireya, the 3 Belleza, and 2 Slink bodies. The gown itself fits very well on my Maitreya Lara and is very pretty for an evening party or formal pictures. I can even see this being used as a bridesmaid’s dress for a wedding if you pair it with one of her fur trimmed capes that are also being sold. My hair is currently on sale on the Marketplace from TRUTH for Second Life’s 12 Days of Savings. I don’t buy a lot of hair from TRUTH but fell in love with this one when I saw it on a friend and it happened to be on sale for 75 linden. SCORE!
For my third look, I swapped the long gown for a fun little dress from .::battle fairy::. that comes fitted for Maitreya, 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, and TMP bodies as well as standard mesh sizes. This pretty little number comes in several different pattern variations but I just adored Flurry because of its wintry feel. While it may not keep my legs too warm, they certainly look fabulous.
Now throughout my pictures, you can see a variety of furniture, a lot of which is at the Cart Sale. One of my favorite pieces is the Cozy Living Room set from =EC Designs= which includes the fireplace, table with candles and books, and the sofa. This is the Winter version of the set which is a special for the event. The fireplace can be turned on and off, volume of the flames adjusted, and security set via the menu accessed with a Touch. Click the candle wicks to light the candles or turn them off too! Plenty of singles and PG couples animations in the sofa will make this the perfect addition to your house and for families.
In the corner, you can see my lovely Buckley’s Rocking Horse. While Dictatorshop is known for adult furniture, this horse comes in a PG version too so that you can have it out around families for holiday festivities. The animations are smooth and natural. Menus for singles have animations on and off the horse while four menus have PG cuddles, kisses, dances, and riding the horse animations. Only the adult version has animation options under the Adult menu button. Poses are adjustable and swappable. Included with either version are rezzable and wearable huds to change various parts of the Horse so you can match it to your home décor. Note: This is a main store release. NOT at the Cart Sale.
Another item of note is the Gramophone on my Modern Tree table. The Gramophone actually plays the song Rocking Around the Christmas Tree and is only 2 prims. Nothing says holiday spirit like good music in a cozy warm setting with loved ones. And with pets! Who doesn’t love a kitty sleeping by the fireplace?
